I have 3! Domestic rats are super sweet. Cockroaches is an absolute no from me though

I had what I called a “garden rat” in the summer. I‘d see it occasionally when I was sunbathing, coming from next doors garden. It would take the bread that I had out for the birds. Obviously had babies as it would take a few bits of bread away. So I put out more. Bet my neighbours loved me! (It was deffo coming from next doors top of a garden though)
