I doubt there were ever any plans to extend it beyond the final date anyway. They couldn’t do that as the contracts would all have a cut off date. The plan would be to continue until the set day the final was meant to be

I’ve lost the momentum for it now and so would the contestants. As they’ve been back in the warmth now to go back to the cold and kind of start again wouldn’t sound appealing to me
