NB reminds me of a lone boy raised in a household of females where he never had to lift a finger and the family girlies hung on his every word and never argued back. He's shockingly entitled. It's his way or no way and everyone should listen to his bullshit ramblings.
And he's lazy. I'm not buying the "Looking after mum" schtick. Maybe he keeps her company and takes her out shopping etc but there is no way he runs her household or takes care of her personal needs.

yeah, adam seemed bit peeved off aswell with NB, oh dear

I was under impression with this show, from previous series, that all contestants are checked by psychiatrist before coming on, its obvious NB is struggling mentally
I do think he has ASD, but even if they were aware he had difficulties before the show I don’t know if they would’ve ruled him out for it like others are suggesting he shouldn’t have been allowed on. I mean, Anne Hegerty has a form of ASD, she visibly found it difficult on the show the entire time she was there, but she was still allowed on. I felt so bad for her. That’s not to say I’m comparing her to NB, his behaviour is quite different, but I still don’t think he’s neurotypical.

As someone else said, it’s very obvious NB has ASD to anyone with a psych qualification (I have a degree in psychology and agree entirely with that person). He is difficult to watch, but personally he’s grown on me and i think a number of people in there are difficult to enjoy watching anyway, although I missed Tues-Thurs episodes this week.
I think he’ll find it hard to come out to all the negativity he’s been getting.

I really don't think it's edited for NB to win, I have yet to see anyone who actively likes him, certainly enough to want him to win. Frankie yeah I'll agree with that. Or David.
I think it’s most likely David will win. I’d be shocked if anyone else did.

Actually in the beginning Richard was such a popular character in there that I thought it was being edited for him to be the eventual winner.

It has taken a while to find it but he is not her full time carer, he is, like you said, her son and calls to see her every day. He is a fake.
He admitted that he's 'so privileged' to be able to afford a live-in carer to take care of his mother and insisted she needs 'real human interaction and love'. .......................
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/...hallenge-coping-mothers-dementia-battle.htmls it is in the DM but they are his words on This Morning and in DM.

Yes I suggested he should have been ruled out - for the other reason in bold.

I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree here. I don't have a psych degree and can only go from experience with a husband with high functioning ASD, a son with aspergers and a nephew with quite severe autism.

He strikes me as a very spoiled manchild who doesn't understand the word no. Making everyone flutter around him to beg him to stay at the beginning shows how manipulative he is. He had no intention of leaving but just wanted everyone to focus on him. Same with all.of his other behaviour

This hits the nail on the head for me.

We lived in India for 16 years and seen so many spoiled manchildren - spot them a mile off. He is of Pakistani origin but they are the same. My best friend who is from Mumbai brought her children up so differently - 5 boys and 3 girls and her kids are the best.

I’m not denying he’s spoiled and childish, I’m just trying to highlight I don’t think he’s fully aware of what’s appropriate or normal.

Does anyone think NB will be first out? I think it will be one of the girls who we haven’t seen much of
I think he’ll stay in another few days tbh. Somebody out there has been voting for him to do trials so I imagine they’ll vote to keep him in too..
I can see Louise or Kadeena being first out.. or possibly Matty because he hasn’t been shown much. I’d love for him to do well, but I don’t think people will remember to vote to save him (I’m in Ireland, I don’t think we can vote)

Not everyone who is awkward socially is neuro atypical. I think he knows full well what he's doing and then faking the open eyed wonder of "why are you being mean to little ole me?" I've worked with plenty of people like him and it's a game they play their whole lives.

I’m not the only one who thinks it so agree to disagree, I’m sticking to my opinion here.

De-lurking here.🖐

I watch it later and read all the comments.

I dont agree with the excusing NB as having ASD. Even if he has, his issues for me is he's been spoiled and pampered his whole life. He's mummy's golden boy and can do no wrong and needs everyone to love him and fuss over him. Look at the thing with the hammock demanding David come and fix it for him. He's over indulged and I'd have personally lost it with him by now.

I didn’t feel he demanded David fix it for him

I don’t think NB will get anywhere near the final

I do feel like the background campmates are really being robbed. Simon is such a nice, funny guy and he’s getting no chance to show that to anyone. Same with people like Matty, I’m sure he’s lovely if he could actually get anyone to know he exists. Why the duck are NB and Arlene the chosen ones when they are both dull as dishwater? David I can understand and Frankie because she is obviously the young, pretty, female poster child that IAC loves, but who on the production team decided those two were the ones!?
