So yet again, on Halloween (I've not watched the vlog), 13 year old Issy isn't going out with friends or anything.
The girl doesn't have a normal teenage life. Why can't she just text her mates and go meet down the park or something, or go shopping like normal 13 year olds?
Sarah treats her like she's Esme and Isla's age. Surely it's affecting Issy's school social life...
Sarah, we know you read these forums. Let your daughter have some freedom. Let her be a teenager!

Do they ever do anything other than go to Morrisons or Primark? Creepy says he loves Halloween. Wonder if that's so he can scare young kids.

*Those of you wondering how my pup is, we went for the referral today. She had all sorts of tests done and it was confirmed that the microchip was put in too deep. I already suspected it because the problems started a day or two after she was chipped. It's really rare apparently but it has been removed. Unfortunately she died on the table but the amazing vet team bought her back and she will hopefully be home in a day or two. I hand reared her because she was struggling to feed from mum and get enough milk as there was a very large litter so we're really close and I love her to bits.

If I’d completely lost the plot like lazy has and stayed with my grooming, cheating vile specimen of a husband, I probably wouldn’t let my kids out of my sight either for fear of vigilantes taking it out on them. I’d like to think nobody would but there are crazies out there!
She didn’t seem to go out with friends before I know, but she’s been ‘babied’ quite a bit so maybe Izzy herself didn’t feel comfortable venturing out. It’s a shame either way if she really isn’t getting to spend time with friends outside of school

A lot of people don't like to get youths knocking on their doors they find it intimidating. You get a lot of the mummies who go out in bunches with their little lovies they send them up the path while they wait on the driveways. that's ok
But you also get bunches of cocky teens who bang on your doors and some people dislike it
Quite a few people do think its begging. A lot of older people just don't relate to it. I think Janet Street Porter wrote an article about it this week
Where we live we don't choose to do it partly because some of our neighbours are elderly and also because a lot of houses are quite secluded
Plus a lot of people are quite tightfisted in Leeds !
It's a proactive thing rather than just a passive thing such as penny for the guy
My daughter is 14 now, but last year she said it would be her last year trick or treating. I took my youngest and she stayed home and handed out candy. Mind you the amount of older teens I saw out wearing either a bin bag or some boring mask was terrible.
I actually refuse to answer the door to the older kids simply because last year some 14/15 yr old boy grabbed a large handful of sweets and took off down the street. Plus they were making a nuisance of themselves more then anything

On the subject of sponsorships as there was questioning about the monitor (can’t recall what the name of the company was). If something is gifted to them, they don’t have to declare it because they aren’t being paid to promote it (although most people make it clear they were sent it aka PR opening box hauls etc) as it is just them receiving the product.. the only thing is, if they will get paid for affiliated links those DO need to be declared as affliatied links regardless of whether it says it’s been sponsored or not.
With Dresslily, they may have been paid to do one ad for it but any other promoting they do with it can be done without declaring it because they haven’t necessarily been paid for it.
I can’t see either of those, even if sponsored paying a lot of money & comparing to what they used to get - it’s hardly anything. Difference also being is brands probably used to send them things on a regular occasion, now they probably have to do the asking - asking for brand deals and sponsorships etc.. which some may look into and chose not to.
They have never actually made it fully clear when something is gifted to them unless it is so exciting that they have to open the box etc. Even down to the opening on the hotel in Legoland (I think or was it Alton towers) they marvelled at how they were sat next to celebs etc but never disclosed it was in partnership perhaps is the best word for it..
