Exactly. I've spent a fortune on my friends' kids this year. I love them like family. I'd never have to beg for anything because my friends would give me the clothes off their backs if I needed them and they know I'd do likewise.

My two have a “bonus aunty” like you . I’m fortunate enough to be best friends with a lovely woman who has no kids but adores mine. Every year I tell her not to buy for them and every year she ignores me.

The fact that no one else is buying Delboy and Rodney presents speaks volumes. We’ve already seen what a spiteful, horrible, narcissistic gobshite she is from Twitter, can you imagine how bad she is in real life?

Imagine being such a tit person, Brandy and Monica’s grandparents don’t even want to see them. My sis and I don’t speak to my Dad through our own choice, but before my Mum died nothing would have stopped her seeing her grandkids had they have been born then.

My neighbour has an autistic child who needs support to the degree he gets a chaperone and a taxi to take him to his school. Nealy every night we hear him kick off when he has to go bed, yelling and slamming things around. He's twice the size of his mother. It would be a lot easier for her to just let him do what he wants but she deals with the aggro every night to make sure he has the best chance possible of being rested for school.
