So crowdfunding didn't pay for the cabs, they were just crowdfunding adjacent?

I don’t understand why she needs to get cabs everywhere in the first place - surely where she lives has buses? She lives in Canterbury, not the arse end of nowhere. As a non-driver I can well appreciate that buses can be expensive and unreliable but every fucker else seems to manage to plan for that, and she crowdfunded bus passes for her kids, did she not??

The way she bleats on about this £700 in taxis she’s had to pay for, it sounds recent.

It was a bleeping year ago and she still wants her Twitter paypigs to pay her back for it! Any damn excuse for an influx of free cash.

With my money sense and her audacity I could be minted!

“I never want to have to crowdfund again”.

Then don’t?

If she had to live on beans on toast and tinned tomato soup for a month to free up some money, then she wouldn’t be the first and she wouldn’t be the last.

If she had to cancel Amazon Prime and stop ordering tit to prioritise money for school trips, well, join the club!

If she had to go without a tumble dryer and hang things on airers and on cupboard doors and radiators and give school uniform a blast with a hair dryer before school, well, welcome to my world.

The level of entitlement and self-pitying is beyond me!

“Make do and mend”.

Omg why was she telling the school the importance of the trip? They organised it. I think they might know.
I bet the school is fed up with the children being off for various spurious reasons but handily always available for school trips.
I work in a school, you cannot force parents to pay, it's illegal and discriminatory all we can do is ask for donations and hope we get enough money in to cover the cost, we have a suggested donation but you don't have to pay, pupil premium children are always thought about, however for any child it would be expected that your child had an attendance above a certain level.

Every school has children that are frequently absent with unauthorised absences, why should they be allowed on a trip when they CBA to come to school normally (please note I said unauthorised, genuine reasons for absence don't count).

I bet her children's attendance is so low that it's triggered the schools attendance procedures!

So basically pp kids aren't discriminated against, trips are not a given right, if you don't attend normally don't expect to go on a trip!

Sarah,I know you read on here, prove me wrong!

Feigning ignorance. Classic manipulation tactic.

Those JustGiving accounts were visible last weekend. After people started digging the dirt they just miraculously closed?

Convenient that.

JustGiving themselves emailed me back earlier today to say the account closed in Feb but then was recently “cancelled” so is no longer visible.

Liar liar pants on fire.

ETA: I emailed to clarify some points in their terms of service to see if she had indeed committed an offence. I didn’t want to be chatting tit I didn’t know about.

Funnily enough, I was thinking about tumble dryers earlier.

I may fire up a crowdfunder 🙌 Not for the dryer though, for a new house cos I don't have space for a dryer atm.

Help a Corrigan out SVJJ? How do these things work?
My dryer broke last week, I ordered a belt for it and we fixed it. Ffs are you telling me we should’ve crowdfunded a whole new house instead. Corblimey I’m no good at grifting!

She’s just pointed out that she can’t dry things on radiators because of the asthmatic boy who shan’t be named. She’s failed to take from the post the actual point of making do with what you’ve got… Like fixing the belt! 👏

There will be a YouTube tutorial for diagnosing the issue, and another for fixing it. A part is the fraction of the price of a whole new appliance. I’ve fixed washing machines and hoovers on many occasions!
