I think she’ll be back on insta soon as the holidays start earlier for independent schools. Maybe they’re seeing out the school year here and then moving to live with her

If I were her ex, I would want some iron clad agreements in place before I let her have them in the US. Unless he goes too, and even then.

She’ll have to send them back in September and the dad will be fighting for them to stay in the U.K.
I wonder if she’s asked the kid what they want to do? Particularly the older one.

The oldest must be 12 going on 13, so old enough to have an opinion on things. It would be hard for her, having this hanging over your head while dealing with teenage stuff and your mum overseas.
Presumably if the 12 year old moved there to the island she would only be there for six years before moving for college or university etc.

I don’t think she used the fundraising money, I think her family would have helped her out. I’m sure she said a “kind friend” was stumping the £2k (!) for her to ship the cat over.

I used to really like HM, liked her style, her photos, her food etc, in a “I know I’ll never have that lifestyle” kind of a way. I think that makes me a bit of a sad sack tbh!

But that pic of her holding the shopping bag with her mouth open and the fake laughing makes me cringe

Anyone else still think that HM used the money she raised for her imaginary friend Claire to pay for her oversea custody battle and move to the US?

No because she gave it to the little village charity who made a post with an amount and tagged her. Think it was £1500 not 100% sure.

So a total of £1500 was raised and it was all given to Little Village? In the post HM herself describes it as the “remaining money” which would imply there was more than just that.
Look maybe that was it, but myself when I am doing fundraising, I report the total raised then give a breakdown of distribution to the cent, so I am completely transparent and the donors feel comfortable and confident in where their money went.
I think with this, it was also the flurried fundraising and heaps of posting appealing to people to donate and then a total silence on it for quite some time which left questions.

On an unrelated topic I wonder how schools and quality of education compares between a London Private school and a public American high school in a regional area?

You are right. The village money was what was left over.
