I am so mad. Wtf was that episode?! And now they are going to make us wait 2 years? Presumably for the first (two) episode to be more build up without anything happening.

Also, I hate Ulf.
Glad it's not just me that hates Ulf 😄

The last episode was a bit of a disappointment. They drew out Daemon's story at Harranhall far too long. The best moments of the episode were his vision and realisation followed by him kneeling before Rhaenera. I enjoyed that scene.

Alicent has been pushed out by her kids so I do feel sorry for her.

Can anyone please explain where Otto Hightower is imprisoned? I thought he'd gone back to his lordly pile in the country.

I think he's imprisoned in the Reach, by House Beesbury - because that little incel loser Criston smashed their lords head in.

I loved Tywin and Lady Olenna, also had a soft spot for The Hound. Loved to hate Cersei/Joff/Ramsey. I was also a Dany stan, I hated what they did to her in the end (mostly because it felt too rushed). I liked Jon Snow too but hated how he was reduced to nothing in the end. It felt like bringing him back from the dead was pointless tbh.

Least favourite characters were Arya and Bran. I just found their stories so boring/unrealistic. 🥱

I thought Mark Addy did really well as old Bobby B. Him telling Lancel Lannister to “fetch the damn breastplate stretcher” was so funny 😂

It's easier to list the characters I didn't like - Theon Reek and Catlyn Stark come to mind.
Catlyn didn't inspire me at all.
Even the mad and evil characters were fun to watch and Cersei was a great villain. In fact all the Lannisters were great. Definitely my favourite house.

I always enjoyed any scenes with Tyrion and Bron in them because I liked their friendship at the beginning.

Bran's story was the least interesting for me.

I must be one of the few that didn't really want Dany to win in the end. If you watch it back she's quite ruthless from the beginning and becomes more so as the story progresses but of course she would have died early on if she wasn't.

It would have been a bit naff if Jon and Dany had ruled together at the end so I wasn't bothered about that. The choice of Bran as King wasn't very inspiring though.

How'd you guess 🤣
Ah, he would’ve been a great addition to the show 🥲

I was fine with Dany turning mad just not the execution of it, and didn’t really care about Jon ruling in the end. What annoyed me was him not having a bigger role to play in defeating the White Walkers after all the build-up. I liked the Azor Ahai theory from the books, so was expecting Jon to kill Dany anyway. I hate being one of those people who go on about the books (because those people tend to annoy me too 😂 ) but there was so much content they could’ve included and padded the series out a bit more before the end. Good characters and arcs that were cut. I understand why they did it and still enjoy the shows as separate from the books, I just found it a bit of a letdown.

“Who has a better story than Bran the Broken?” Everyone? 🥴 🤣

I read a theory that GRRM is taking so long to write the remaining Ice and Fire books because he saw how badly the show finale went down. I think Bran being king and Dany going mad and being killed by Jon is also how it will go down in the books. Bran was the first real viewpoint character in the first novel.

i loved tyrion the most, but generally found all lanisters interesting: tywin, cersei and jamie 🦁
also had a lot of love for sansa! bronn and podrick deserve a special mention as well, the scene where tyrion and bronn question podrick about not paying at the brothel was peak got 😂 also tormund was a joy every time he was on screen

the ones i disliked the most would have to be bran and arya, as well as daenerys i'm afraid

I don’t mind if there are only a few dragon battles, what I find more important is good pacing and character development. And apart from Aegon (still bad, but more grey than others) we rarely got that this season.
