having a quick skim through je insta and before every single post was about pregnancy, they were all about how horrible it is being a parent, how awful her toddler is etc etc

Nor me. I follow a doula who was adamant she didn't want to be induced and she went over 40 weeks and even she says the pressure edge got to be induced was immense and she really had to fight to not get one. Can't see Shan being that assertive.

Yeah I agree. I’ve had 2 inductions with no issues. She’s also had an induction so should know what it entails
 
If she’s claiming she’s had spd they’ll offer her one. I was 39 weeks when I got my first sweep because I was in so much agony with my spd I couldn’t even sleep, then when my boy didn’t want to come out still I got induced at 40+4
No shame in being induced if you’re in hell with pregnancy let’s call a spade a spade pregnancy can be really difficult and draining especially towards the end
