After his initial appearance in the show where he started sticking his nose into Salt, I also started liking Gabe. Surely there was more mileage in the storyline of Mack looking after him when he was ill, whether he eventually died or not? But having him vanish just cut it down.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Andrew himself, but I’m amazed they didn’t see mileage in a character that is a former cult member adjusting to a new free life?

Nope back to the band where only two members really seem to give a hoot. As if someone like Remy wouldn’t want to get his face out there and leave the PR to Kirby?!

There isn’t a huge amount of thought going into making the storylines credible.

i like Mack and hope she has something decent coming up, but I don’t mind her being a satellite character for a bit, as long as she has something interesting and not repetitive to satellite.

I didn’t mind Andrew too much and his sister, seemed rushed and he’s gone as quick as he showed up. But the kid who’s grown up away from society, can’t read or write, had not long been done with Bella.

This is why I can’t watch it’s so over the top and dramatic, not just the cash storyline EVERY storyline

Yes, Marilyn blaming herself for Alf taking off when he didn't want to hear that he had a hearing problem, Theo taking so much crap from Kirby since they broke up but then having a go at for being a good spokesperson for the band, Mali being in a mood 90% of the time over something etc etc.

I’m fed up of Mali’s family afraid too tell his mom he has a gf.. i can’t think of one good thing or one good character in it at the min

As someone pointed out here the other day, everything is iNtEnSe and overblown!
 
I'm a few episodes behind but I'm finding the sister annoying too, stomping around and over exaggerating the acting, like when she grabbed the dinner and starting devouring it. She's like a child, not a nurse.

I feel like they have a lot of the cast that are mid 20s early to 30s acting like teenagers. Flick, Cash, Rose, Mali, Bree… The smallest thing is a massive drama so often. Or sulking off and not talking to someone for 2 episodes. Tane seems the only sensible one out of the lot.
