Bake-off, like Strictly, is the definition of 'flogging a dead horse'. Personally I can't stand Noel. To me he looks grubby and nothing he says or does makes me laugh. He's like an adult pretending to be a baby. To me that's just not funny, it's pathetic. Well-paid television producers/executives who enable these people should be ashamed of themselves. I have no clue which demographic Alison is supposed to appeal to. She just comes across as loud, rude, and utterly ignorant to me. All she's got is shouting in a brummy accent: ALRIGHT BABS?

I totally get what you mean, but these single ads for games pay more than most TV or other brand deals. She'll get well in excess of 100k for that one ad.

She may be making bank but her public image has been completely ruined since queuegate and the nail in the coffin was Philth being exposed.

Of course she is! Although this show is marketed as a family show it's a wonderful way for ITV to get around the current gambling laws that prohibit the promotion of gambling to children. Of course, that sort of thing wouldn't concern Hollybobs, Mulhern or ITV.

Thankfully I don't have a gambling addiction. But to me the gambling industry is totally out of control. I feel so sorry for people who become addicted. It's such a pernicious industry and destroys lives. If I turn on the radio or television I cannot go 20 minutes without a gambling commercial.
