I wouldn't be surprised if it was gifted.
Imo the reason why she is not doing anything is that she is not getting as many gifted opportunities due to her views being lower.
 
Didn't she go to an elephant sanctuary during her first Thailand holiday too? And then she got criticized for it and deleted the comments? I vaguely remember sth along those lines, but I'm not sure.

ETA and I mean, by Holly's logic it is probably absolutely fine and okay since after all, she doesn't own the elephants. Cause clearly, formal legal ownership is what counts, see: poor Rocket the rabbit in his tiny filthy concrete prison
 
How long is she actually in Thailand for? The whole trip is just so depressing, I'm not into travel vlogs that much but the videos are so unbelievably dull compared to other YouTubers, even Molly Thompson's are more interesting than hers. For so many people this would be the trip of a lifetime and all they do is sit in a hotel room eating plain food or going out on runs. They may as well be at home in the UK, I've genuinely had more interesting trips to the corner shop.
 
The one thing that’s annoying me most about Holly’s videos atm is that she seems to think her and angelo are living in Thailand.

they are travelling around the country, staying in different sponsored accommodations, doing all the touristy activities and going out to eat for most meals. Those are not things you do if you’re living somewhere?? Also if you’re coming back in 4 months, that’s just an extended holiday

Just because you’re still working while you’re away doesn’t mean you’re living there!

Not to mention, no attempt to learn the language other than the occasional word.
 
They were so excited about those horrible pizzas as well...🤢 grim! Overhears Angelo say to the person in the cafe they go to every day that they are doing a marathon in Germany in September 🫣 I don't think he has a lot of interests outside of running/exercise either he looks so bored if they aren't talking about that or miserable food. Agree that they may as well have stayed in the UK or at least she could have moved to London first!
 
I’ve finally been able waiting to write this as I couldn’t get in. LOL. I discovered this thread a while back and was like woah this explains a lot.

I’ve met Holly in person at an event we were both invited to. She’s unfriendly, looks-down-on-you, unhelpful, cold & mean vibes. She met a new friend at this event and as soon as her friend spoke to me, Holly ignored me & wanted me not to be there even though we were put in the same group. I’ve never met her before. I felt she was quite controlling and childish which explains the ED. Holly if you’re reading this, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you grew the F up.

Someone had asked on yt how she could afford all these trips without and job and I replied that a lot of her accommodations are gifted and that the bulk of her income is from sponsorships, and Holly made a point to like every comment on that thread except for mine including one that claimed she was a successful business owner. Tbh I've always wondered how many tutoring clients she has and if she even managed to keep the staff she hired a year or so ago because her prices were outrageous, she acts like a 12-year-old, and I have not heard her speak about actual business managing (like checking in with her employees, invoicing, budgeting, paying her employees, etc) since she was in lockdown in her bedroom doing her masters degree. Even then she'd just say she had "admin".
 
Ngl I’ve been quiet on this thread but…I know someone she was travelling with! He said she comes from a VERY wealthy background (basically her family has given her everything) And she’s super obsessed with the vegan lifestyle and not drinking (v v ED behaviours) anyway I don’t want my friend getting dragged into this as they have been in vlogs 👀 ☕️
 
I’m seeing so many more critical comments on her posts since she’s been away. I have a feeling once she’s back home she’ll say that she didn’t enjoy her trip because of people criticising her behaviour. She won’t admit it was the disordered behaviour itself that made her trip absolutely miserable.
