I don't know really, I was always a bit surprised she had a few kids as she seemed so focussed on her career/being rock hard etc! I have close friends who went down the band aid baby route and it's very sad to watch it happen. It will be interesting to see if she feels the need to move now, to be closer to work or get more family support. Another upheaval for her and the kids if so. ☹️
 
Of the digging that has been done this week, it really doesn't throw much up about Stephanie, which leads me to believe that she is just a named exec on behalf of her father, there's certainly no proof anywhere of her hosting or attending board meetings, publishing any company details in her name etc. So I think, amongst all the trolling, the point is correct that she's been given roles by her family to keep her busy and out of trouble (which doesnt seem to have worked!!)

It's more likely the 'journalist' read the post here and decided to use the news rather than did their own research.
