Exactly. This is one of her BEST friends, and the dog is apparently Diane's BOYFRIEND. Now, if my best friend couldn't afford to pay for her dog and he was in pain with all 4 legs, I honestly couldn't sleep at night with worry for them and would do absolutely everything I could to help.

I would definitely not be buying £5,000 sofas, £1,000 iPads and doing ££££'s of shopping sprees while asking my audience to foot the bill while I "think" about donating.

Even if she couldn't afford the full amount (lets face it, she can) she should donate what she could the day she shared it on her main account.

And she should have been sharing it constantly and giving her followers updates, she brought this to her audience, she has a responsibility. But then she's recently complained about influencer responsibility, so... I'm sure this will come under all that crap just go get out of any accountability and responsibility 🙄
 
She did the absolute least, why not upload an extra video where all the Adsense goes to the fundraiser? If it were me I would’ve done something revolving around Diane and Lola, keeping up with the dog theme. Just something cute that appeals to a wide audience for more views.
Another suggestion that would be out of character for Helen because it actually takes a bit of effort, host a raffle. Lauren Faulkner from Trans Life & Wife on YouTube did this, it was £2 per ticket, and that £2 went to Steps to Hope, a Scottish charity that helps homeless people.

Editing to add: Lauren’s raffle raised over £25,000 for the charity, do better Helga

I was listening to Simplynailogical’s podcast earlier today and she talks about why she still keeps her day job and why she often doesn’t like other YouTubers. She pinpointed all the problems in Helen’s behaviour flawlessly ! This was very interesting...
Can’t wait to compared this with Helen’s attempt at speaking 2 well thought sentences in a row 😂
