I remember at primary school one of my classmates sticking his tongue out and the teacher saying “ugh! You are not going to put that dirty thing back in your mouth are you? Maybe I should wash it with carbolic soap first”I think it might have been after this occasion that Princess Anne told her not to do it. She was actually sticking her tongue out at people in the crowd as they walked back from church.
How dare she behave like this whilst wearing my hat ….. what a woman she is!

Your teacher made a good point. Perhaps Smegs's tongue is desperately trying to escape her gaping maw. It's traumatised by the cruel and unusual treatment she's put it through, and sees a chance to escape. Poor bloody tongue. All her organs (not her heart as it's already shrunken, shrivelled and rotten and is beyond saving) should make similar escape bids.I remember at primary school one of my classmates sticking his tongue out and the teacher saying “ugh! Lady Fermoy was quite a piece of work!Is this really true? I'm pretty sure that Andrew was dating Koo Stark at the same time KC was dating/engaged to Diana. I remember this as one of the cleaning ladies at my Uni would go on and on about "innocent Diana" who would be the perfect princess whereas "slutty Koo" would not.
The Spencer siblings (Diana and Charles) grew up on the Sandringham Estate until their father inherited to Earldom in 1975 - so would have been there at the same time as Princes Andrew and Edward - so the Spencers and Windsors were well known to each other especially with the 4 of them having a small age difference.
I am not sure that either Charles or Diana really pursued each other - I think it was an arrangement between the two grandmothers, the Queen Mother and Lady Fermoy. I don't think from the start that they really intended Diana for KC - wasn't one of Diana's older sisters pushed to date Charles first? I think Lady Fermoy was very keen to join the Spencer Earldom to the RF and see her granddaughter as queen - and she didn't care about age gap relationships either as she pulled her own daughter, Frances Roche, out of school at 15 to throw her into the path of the already engaged, Johnny Spencer ... and we know how that marriage worked out.
The next book was called Polo I think. Disney will do a lot better with that version if they go ahead and make it.We have just watched Jilly Cooper's Rivals, so now we will be needing lots of silly sex-crazed fun with our niche posho sports. Since neither Harry nor Meghan have a sense of humour (or self-awareness) I can't see this series doing well.

When my sister in law visited us with her friend, we took them to Chester. The friend said "gosh this must be a long street, that door number is 1368" .It’s marginally better than ‘quaint’. It really gets up my nose when American tourists call everything over here ’quaint’. It just comes across as patronising.

I had a boyfriend who would do and say the most dreadful things and then turn up a few days later as if nothing had happened, it really played with my head until I realised that it was only when he had done something wrong that it happened never when I had supposedly committed an unforgivable misdemeanour.
Harry must have been hell to live with all along or was he okay before rachel, how come they are both so exactly alike in their narcissistic wilful ways, was it a case of two narcs meeting in a kind of folie a deux or did she influence him.
Isn't there any way that you can trick your uncle into revealing his real character in front of people, alas they make it seem so simple in films to unmask the bad guy.
Can't you secretly record him and play it over the public address system at a wedding like they do in the soaps.
Sorry your extended family are so vile.I'm sorry you had to deal with that reading the description, it fit so many people I've known/still know. The realisation of what they did and what it did to us comes way later
I think it's a folie a deux. He was no angel, no matter what the "Men In Grey" tried to make us believe. The cheeky chappie was always a facade. At best it was one facet of his personality.
Even as a child he had that look (and actions) that takes it beyond mere brattiness. I've observed the same look in many of my nephews and nieces and other children around me - I've so far never been wrong in my assessment. Every single one with that look has grown up to be entitled, mean and selfish. Not to say that those without 'the look' all turned out to be angels, but none are as bad as that lot.
Oh how I wish life was a film - I'd have called cut a long time ago or at least demanded a better script
It will be difficult to trick them - they've become crazy paranoid now. Back when things were still friendly on the surface, my parents had gone over for a talk. Dad was replying to an urgent work-related text (plus he struggles with social interactions so fiddling with his phone helps him). The bastard shouted at him for recording the conversation (he didn't) and tried to snatch his phone away. Dad even dropped the phone out of nervousness. And of course we didn't and still don't have the money to replace it.
The worst part is, many people know and they don't care. Mostly because they're of a similar mindset (in the name of culture), or trying to butter them up, or are just scared of them. Many are also enjoying the show.
Even if we expose them etc, it's of no use and will just have them target us even worse, because they're utterly crazy narcs with constant fuel, and they're not at all operating within the law. And thanks to their activities, they've amassed enough money and power that no one will touch them.
If my mother had any sense, we could have dealt with them years ago. Now we can just try to survive, as long as they let us.
That's why I say Sparry doesn't know how good he's got with his family. At least he got titles and a few million and to get away. This is how (and even worse!) some of us live and die.

Sorry your extended family are so vile.
What will happen to you when your parents are no longer around?
Jilly Cooper’s books had a big influence on my love life decisions in the 80s. Not all good decisions, I should add!The next book was called Polo I think. Disney will do a lot better with that version if they go ahead and make it.
I worry and fear that Charles will forgive the base traitor despite all that he has done.

They are going to try to rehabilitate him if Charles gets his way, we want William.
. However, Palace sources have made clear to me that Sophie and her husband Prince Edward could point the way for Prince Harry and Meghan to return to royal duties.
. If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are prepared to give up their private work and return to royal life, they would be welcomed back,' one courtier tells me. 'Certainly, as long as King Charles is monarch.'
Yes thanks @Happy Lady .It was from their NF so I couldn't open it, but you can see there are no footprints of hers in front of the sled where she's supposed to have pulled the Ffark along, no tracks behind either. It's just been plonked there in the snow and as you say it doesn't even look like the Ho. Why slog around with a doll in the cold for a pap shot when you can stay in bed and call up a double to do it for you?Is this the picture you refer to Cinny? It doesn't even resemble Smeg either.

This is a photo that was taken from a video in the documentary and Meghan looks different to the person who is pulling the sledge.Yes thanks @Happy Lady .It was from their NF so I couldn't open it, but you can see there are no footprints of hers in front of the sled where she's supposed to have pulled the Ffark along, no tracks behind either. I think it looks like her.The straining of the seams on the shoulders suggests it is her though.
