The Sun, Ingrid Seward

"QUEEN Camilla has jetted away on holiday and is taking a break from official duties after holding the fort since the King announced his cancer diagnosis.
King Charles, 75, is said to have “insisted” his wife, 76, have some time off, and a royal expert claims we can learn about his health from the decision.
Now he is responding well to his cancer treatment, the time was right for Camilla to have her pampered break for a week.
“The King insisted she went and took the opportunity to recharge her batteries, which she will certainly do.”

In the article it says that Chuck's treatment is "pioneering".

Laura Poirot points out Aldi in same clothes and haircut
Not sure they are the same jeans Archie is wearing, the ones on the Christmas photo seem to be a light wash colour, the birthday photo ones are much darker (even if you allow for the lighting difference).

Not defending them, just in case anybody had any doubts on what I think on the subject, and agree that the birthday photos are highly unlikely to have been taken at the date and location they want us to believe.

I agree.
The jeans are not the same.

I prefer independent media online, and it's growing
Yes. 100% of my news consumption is online. I don't watch live tv and haven't for years. I only watch on-demand programmes, and then I have my ipad or phone for Youtube clips of TalkTv, GB News, BBC News etc whilst I am making dinner etc. I haven't sat down to a TV news broadcast in years. Hopefully Talk TV continue their youtube content. I enjoy Plank of the Week.

I hope Catherine is relaxing somewhere as part of her recovery. The press and sugars need to leave her alone.

MOD Website

"WELCOME TO THE ONLINE TICKET BOOKING WEBSITE FOR TROOPING THE COLOUR (THE KING'S BIRTHDAY PARADE)
TROOPING THE COLOUR, REVIEWED BY MAJOR GENERAL J M H BOWDER OBE
Saturday 1st June 2024

TROOPING THE COLOUR, REVIEWED BY HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE PRINCESS OF WALES
Saturday 8th June 2024

You can purchase and secure tickets directly to the first two events.
Tickets for these events range from £5 to £15.

TROOPING THE COLOUR, REVIEWED BY HIS MAJESTY THE KING
Saturday 15th June 2024"
..........................

With the intense speculation about Catherine and repeated calls to respect her privacy, it's odd that the MOD published that she would attend this event in June without consulting KP.
It's been made clear she will return "after Easter", which could be any time, and TTC on 8th June is only 8 weeks after Easter.
The advanced announcement in these circumstances seems strange.

It will add to the confusion, just like the photo has added to the confusion.

Ingrid Seward quoted in the Mirror. Presumably from her new book.

I'm not surprised the Waleses failed to bond and were concerned Haz had never met his FiL. It was weird from the get-go.

Right. Catherine and William are nice people and Meghan is a twunty witch. That was going to fail before they met.

I do like a good tweet..... and here is a very good tweet.

The Duchess of parking lots - hee hee hee.

Stupi

Stupid old bint knows duck all prefer the Spaniels and better looking!
I do like spanners but I'm not sure about those two! I reckon they need meeja training because it kind of bothers me how her ladyship has to wrestle them off her every time! A simple command like 'DOWN!' should be enough.

But the worst thing in this latest is how she's so negative about the possibility of the stoats getting pulled up about the *allegedly* fake NYPD letter. Apparently because VIPs get away with this sort of thing all the time. Like it's ok, and just another perk for this lot.

That made me want to cancel my Lifetime Monarchy Supporter subscription!!
I mean, if the stoats are able to get away with perjury, then what do the rest of his family get away with...?? 🤬

✨Congarats to Allflightscancelled for the new title... NYC fairytale...takes me back to a hot, sultry July night, many years ago, sitting on top of an apartment building a stone's throw from the Brooklyn Bridge, just the two of us having dinner and marvelling at all the twinkling buildings looking like they'd been decked with fairy lights...and the majestic Twin Towers presiding brightly over all....such a magic scene... all was well with the world...
And then monsters come along and mess it all up....psychos are the very reason we can't have nice things for very long. Damn them and the Monteshitshow Monsters too.

Meghan is so cringe and so pathetic and so desperate.

The other women didn't even bother with bios, let alone this inflated mess that she thinks makes her look good. For the love of god.

Notice how Meghan's bio is exactly the same as her Sussex.com bio

SXSW Bio
Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity. Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures. She has been named one of the most influential women in the world in rankings including TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People, The Financial Times’ 25 Most Influential Women, Variety Power of Women, and British Vogue’s Vogue 25.

Her advocacy work on resilience, equality, and compassion through action has been recognized – alongside that of her husband, Prince Harry – with the NAACP President’s Award as well as the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award.

Born and raised in Southern California, Meghan attended Los Angeles based all-girls Catholic School, Immaculate Heart, which she continues to support as an alumna, before moving to Chicago to attend Northwestern University. While there, she double majored in Theater and International Relations, and went on to intern at the US Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as well as to study abroad in Madrid, Spain.

After graduation, Meghan turned her focus to the entertainment industry, later securing a lead role on the hit series, ‘Suits’ which she starred in for seven seasons. Between filming, Meghan travelled to Rwanda, India, and other countries to support humanitarian missions. She served in key roles such as: UN Women’s Advocate for Women’s Political Participation and Leadership, a World Vision Global Ambassador, and a leading Counsellor to One Young World. Meghan also travelled to support the military community on a USO Tour, visiting six military bases in seven days including Bagram, Afghanistan.

In 2018, Meghan married Prince Harry, becoming The Duchess of Sussex.

She has written for a number of publications and created the lifestyle website, ‘The Tig’. The Duchess of Sussex guest edited British Vogue in July 2019, which was the fastest selling copy in the magazine’s history.
She and Prince Harry founded The Archewell Foundation in 2020 to support communities in need, in both moments of crisis as well as for long term aid. At The Archewell Foundation, they are committed to their mission: Show Up, Do Good. They hold the value that charitable work should not simply be ‘a handout, but rather a hand held’, a phrase Meghan first adopted in supporting UK charity Smart Works, of which she is patron, that supports women to enter the workforce. Meghan and her husband also founded and oversee the production company, Archewell Productions.

In 2022, Meghan launched ‘Archetypes’, a record-breaking podcast exploring the labels that hold women back. ‘Archetypes’ debuted at Number 1 in The US, UK, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, and topped the charts as the Number 1 podcast in 47 countries. After its first season, Archetypes was awarded The People’s Choice Award in the podcast category, as well as The Gracie Award for Best Podcast.

She is a NY Times Best Selling author, publishing the acclaimed children’s book, ‘The Bench’, and ‘Together: Our Community Kitchen’ a collaborative publication with the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen in the UK, who were displaced after the tragic Grenfell Fire. The book debuted as number one on the UK’s Sunday Times Booklist, with proceeds going to The Hubb Kitchen.

Meghan is a major advocate for mental health, family care, and gender equity. The Duchess hopes to be a cultural catalyst for positive change, reflecting her core belief that representation matters, and that communities can be enhanced through learning, healing, and inspirational support.

Meghan lives in California with her husband and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Seems to me to be very smart of Chuck to send her off with his blessing for a wee rest. Illness is just as hard in other ways on loved ones close to the patient and yet they feel guilty for allowing themselves to even think about a bit of time off. After all, they're no good to the patient if they're suffering carer-fatigue and they're no good to themselves either.

Does this pioneering involve herbals I wonder...?

Talk about oversharing in a bio. Bet she will ask each participant what high school they went to.
