The judgement document is hilarious. I've basically replaced every word which follows 'the claimant......' with 'whinged' as that is all you can really hear when reading it.

I'd love to know how they got this letter:

135. On the last day of the hearing before me, Ms Fatima KC produced a copy of a letter dated December 6 2023 from the Chief of Intelligence in the New York City Police Department. The letter is addressed to the Chief Superintendent OCU Commander Royalty and Speciality Protection. The Chief of Intelligence says that he wishes to make the Chief Superintendent “aware of certain changes to the security posture that will be afforded to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in light of the security incident that took place on May 16 2023 in New York City”. The letter says that a thorough review of the incident had taken place and although no formal charges were brought against the parties involved at the time “we did conclude that the behaviour in question was reckless. As a result, [redacted text], beginning with an upcoming trip in the current weeks”. The investigation had found reckless disregard of vehicle and traffic laws and persistently dangerous and unacceptable behaviour on the part of paparazzi during the night in question. They had operated vehicles, scooters and bicycles in a manner that forced the security team, which included the NYPD lead car, to take evasive actions on several occasions and a circuitous route to avoid being struck by pursuing vehicles or trapped on side blocks. The conclusion was that there was sufficient evidence to arrest two individuals for reckless endangerment. [redacted text].

Part of me wants Harold and Rachel back ...even with full security.

Security could protect him from physical danger but this is the UK so, apart from the odd random nutter, neither of them would be in any real physical danger.

The real danger for them in the UK would be the average Brit's weapons of choice: ridicule and sarcasm. Forget the booing, although there'd be lots of that, imagine the re-written football chants, waving dog bowls, the baby Harold balloon and the mediaeval curtseying for starters. It would be epic :love:
 
This section is basically Harry moaning about the paparazzi which Ravec, quite rightly, are not responsible for.

RAVEC is concerned with security against persons bearing a hostile intent towards an individual, not those who, however recklessly, may cause danger in their efforts to get a photograph of a celebrity that they can then try to sell to a media outlet.

Agree, but this is the wrong way round and yet again the veterans have been made to pay the price. The problem remains that the Sussexes are allowed to destroy events and causes, drive away powerful sponsors like Amazon. Nobody asks why.

I'd be interested to see the correspondence between Amazon and the IG CEO about the Amazon reasons for withdrawing their support. Even though the Sussexes are toxic enough to cause Amazon to withdraw, IG still sticks with them.

The Invictus Games Board have had the recent examples of the Hague, Dusseldorf, and Whistler last week for the penny to drop. They did nothing, instead gearing up for Whistler 2025 with a taster last week of the repellent hooker in the snow merching clothes and gurning at the camera, her shifty and bloated captive snarling at her side. Not a veteran in sight.

The fault lies with every Sussex enabler who allows them to trade on their royal status and strut around instructing serfs to call them "ma'am" and "sir". Take their titles away.

We never heard about a person or people being arrested. Isn't this a flat out lie? The mayor and the Chief of Police came out and said that the alleged incident never happened

Exactly right! All their bullshit over the high-speed chase and reckless endangerment has been disproved so how they got such a letter issued is beyond me!
