Agree with you Zippy…she got ahead of the story and framed herself as a victim, that she was “trafficked.” She profited for herself all along the way. She falsely accused young men of horrible things long before she met JE. Her framing herself as a victim now is to save her own skin because she is guilty of procuring girls for JE. She’s just as bad as GM and JE.

I suspect when W reaches the throne they will be so insignificant he may not need to do anything (but I'm sure he will do it if its needed even if it's unpopular - we can already see he's changing things in the Dutchy of Cornwall by charging Pa rent ;) )
 
I'm really really uncomfortable with some of the victim blaming coming out here at the moment. Rich and powerful men exploiting young girls/women is never a good thing, regardless of whether or not those girls/women thought they were getting something out of it.

May have to take a break for a while.

I would just replace your words girls/ women with children, although in this context they are correct.
When power is at play young people of 20 or 21, of all sexes, still have a lot to learn.

I get what you mean but I don't think it's a black and white case.

VG was not underage in our country, and whilst a 17 Yr old and a 40 Yr old together sounds wrong, as long as both are consenting it's nobody else's business. I do happen to know a similar aged couple together right now, the girl is 18-19 and the man mid 40's. It happens although it's unusual.

And let's not forget PA is bleeping dumb, look at the crap he came out with in his interview with Maitlis. As someone else suggested, he probably did think they fancied him. Money is Andrew's God and Epstein had money and connections....

I don't believe everyone involved with Epstein slept with the girls either. He wanted them to, that's why he invited them to his places, and if they did IMO he blackmailed them saying the girls were underage etc.

I'm not sure I believe VG is 100% telling the truth. Her story has changed before. She experienced something abhorrent yet she was trying to recruit other girls? She left at one point and went back months later so she wasn't kidnapped which often goes hand in hand with trafficking.

I also wonder why she's only gone after PA, why should he be the scapegoat if so many men were doing the same and rich enough to pay people off?

And no, I'm not trying to excuse anyone or anything before some numpty suggests otherwise, but there are alot of aspects to this case, and there are still lots of questions unanswered. We want those guilty of wrongdoing to face charges but the whole case hasn't been investigated properly. There's still video tapes supposedly of what went on, why hasn't anything come of those tapes?

And they specifically target girls with no family structure i.e. orphans, one-parent children, unstable or poor homes, neglected etc. They know these types of children:

a. Are easier to manipulate and control.
b. Won't be missed.
c. Will be discredited and called her "fast", "promiscuous" etc.
 
Andrew is a twit and we will probably never know whether he did sleep with VG or not. Epstein probably wanted him to for blackmail purposes, but I suspect the main reason he was around was to give Epstein 'status' and the draw of being able to introduce others to him, or show that he was well connected.

Clearly some girls were being trafficked or prostituted, yet the only person they were prostituted to was Andrew. Well that's utter bollocks. Who are all the people who were paying for them and funding Epstein's life?

I agree that it is not black and white. But the problem with this theory is that people are making it all up on behalf of Andrew.

Andrew didn't say any of this. He claims he never met her, didn't do it, he is innocent. So why the need for people to come up with explanations as to why he would have ":sick:had sex:sick:" with a 17-year-old?

She looked 20.
She wanted him.
Or he thought she wanted him.

He hasn't made any of these excuses for himself. Yet people are already doing it for him; that is strange to me.
 
Actually looking at the Danish New Year Ceremonies, I think the body language between Mary and Fred is very poor and I really hope their Reign won’t turn into just a business arrangement, I did think their body language was off for a while before the report in the Spanish media.

Didn't Andrew invite Epstein and Ghislaine to Balmoral as well?

At this point I'm thankful that William doesn't appear to have inherited his father, mother, uncle and brother/SIL's various habits involving courting/freeloading off/wanting to be close personal friends with celebrities, etc.

I know William works with a number of them on his projects/patronages but those appear to be professional relationships. Friendly, but not 'friends'.

We're not hearing tales of Hollywood types having cosy weekends at Anmer or holidaying with the Waleses.

I think the only one who is a sort-of friend is Roger Federer who the PPoW know through Pippa's in-laws. And Catherine is friends with Sir Ben Ainslie because of sailing.

I am also thankful that PA is Hazza's Godfather and not William's. Or we'd never hear the end if it in the media. Remember how the Lady Susan Hussey incident suddenly became less about her at an event hosted by Camilla and all about her being William's Godmother?
 
I may have absolutely had my head in the sand here but had there been previous rumours about Fred being a rat while married to Mary or was the Mexican socialite the first time something like that had come out? They always seemed like quite a solid, happy couple.
