Revealing anything like that is a terrible example of bad manners. Something taken far more seriously than bad behaviour in those circles.

This is what I thought of my first love. When I met him he lived in the staff wing at his parents. Always wore the same jeans and shirt and jacket.

Then we were asked to help him move. When I saw the flat I was sure he was in way over his head. The flats rent was about 10 times what a servant could afford. I knew because my mom was a teal estate broker. So I promised to find him a flat. After a couple of weeks he invited me to his familys sunday lunch. 🤭

I have quite a few millionaires living near me (mostly rich football players) - all completely showy, huge houses with flash cars parked all over the driveways. Its all show - they have no taste and very little class. Yet they get more freebies than anyone Ive ever known, always leeching and trying to not pay at restaurants etc.

Very much new money I guess. Not everybody is like that, but a lot are. I saw a footballer's house advertised for sale few months ago (it wasn't flogged as 'so-and-so's house, but people in the area knew who lived there), and it was absolutely awful inside. Expensive, but as you say, no taste and no class. Or am I describing Megzy? 🤣

The Queen’s private collection is in a somewhat different league to any ordinary person having their jewels around the house, and her outfits, including accessories, planned in advance so calling them up from an offsite vault would not present a problem.

In any case, most people keep very valuable pieces in bank vaults, not around the house.

I would have thought more so, from Harry. He would be very familiar with their home as it’s reported, he spent a lot of time there.

Bear with me while I pull up a chair...I would love nothing more than for MM to run for office because there is no way in hell she will be able to control herself from using campaign funds for her own personal use. Whether she runs in California or at the federal level, there’s some pretty strict campaign finance and disclosure laws and due to her self-created notoriety there’s just absolutely no possible way she will be able to escape the scrutiny.

Bonus points for all of the dirty laundry the RF, media, jilted friends, etc have been sitting on will most definitely be hung up to dry.

@Momof5intheStates ~ welcome to Houston! I just returned home from stocking up on the essentials (case of wine) as it appears Laura is determined to also grace us with her presence. If the streets don’t flood head on over!

Not only that but who would back her? I read of silly sums needed to run a campaign, half a billion dollars? Trump didn't spend anywhere near that, in fact if I remember well his was one of the cheapest for decades.

Even the most stupid of people must realize they do have some jewelry in the house. And imagine there is some kind of vault to keep it safe. It is rather like being flabberghasted the lokal bank has a vault and they keep money in it. 😮

It does not give directions on how to get there other than in the basement. They could have several stories of under earth storage rooms and BP takes up some considerable sqm.

As long as nobody gives unmistakable directions (go down to -4, turn right at the secon corner, open the third door on the left) or a map I'd say this is nothing to blab about at all.

What's next? Everyone getting conniptions when they reveal there is a wine cellar in BP, too, storing wine worth millions? 🙄

There sure is. The wine vault is located beneath the west wing, worth only about a couple of million.
The jewel vault is a room the size of an ice rink 40 feet below BP
Crown Jewels are kept in the Jewel House, Tower of London.

Not to derail the thread but the situation over there is not good again. I hope things calm down a little or more people will be hurt (two dead already according the the news). And I certainly DO NOT want any overspill here in the UK again, the world has enough to deal with at the moment.

Yes, I agree! I saw that so many people lost their businesses as well bc of the arson. I don't see her contributing ANYTHING, other than her meaningless words, to the community. If anything, she will just incite more violence.
