I've seen a few guess Alexander which I think is very possible.

I presume it was a home birth with only midwives present

The Wiki page, if it is to be believed, says the boy was born at Frogmore Cottage so it was probably a home birth. I do know, since she was an elderly first-time-mother, that Meghan had a hand-picked team of 26 birth attendants including a female obstetrician leading it.

^OT but I don't know which sounds worse: elderly or geriatric mother for a woman in her late 30s lol. I know why these terms are used but it still sounds ridiculous to me (not blaming you, I know it's a standard thing).

I checked- Princess Margaret’s daughters son is called Art. Some what of a distant cousin there lol.

If in keeping with royal traditions though they don’t tend to stray that far from a list of pretty standard names. I mean George has Louis as a middle name after all

Could be a lineage thing, Harry’s kid isn’t going to be king so they not making such a big thing. Also possibly not doing it as a slight on Meghan.

Agreed. George also has Alexander as a middle name too which if looking at it that way, would rule it out for Baby Sussex if they didn’t want a close relative having the same name

I was classed as a geriatric mother at 27!
