She wont be able not to.

It'll be an early foray into her new life of being a stand alone royal reporter (one from the Scabies school), but, what has she got in her locker? Nothing but second hand information. And that's how it's going to be from now on.

She's back to loitering on the side lines again. She coulda been a contender! (Can't remember what film that's from, brain not working yet)
 
The rumours about PA being the result of an affair and Philip having affairs have been around for decades. Philip retiring mainly to Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate is not a secret and was openly reported on for a few years. He stayed their because he liked it, not because he was a 95 year old who had separated from his wife of 70 years, they spent days or weeks apart but always came back together and that worked for them. They spent his last year together. Pictures of him seeming friendly with women have been around for decades.

The press reported on ups and downs in their marriage, in fact one often used "explanation" of why Andrew seems to be HMTQ's favourite child is that he was born during a period of reconciliation and sexiness after a bad patch.

Whether or not her had affairs or nights with other women really doesn't make a difference to people who weren't in that marriage. I don't think whatever the truth is means that his love and support of her and work for the UK over the last 73 years (plus serving in the war) should be discounted. Life's complicated and if anything happened all parties involved have been discreet so it's their personal business.

And IF the Countess of Burma was his lover in his later years then it seems to have been accepted by HMTQ since she made the Covid Cut and it would have been easy just to limit the guest list to direct relatives and not invite her, which is what has brought up this speculation again.

And seriously some people on SM need to do some fact checking (what's new) and not try pretend PP that the only explanation for their long term friendship was staring as Rupert Campbell-Black in a Jilly Cooper novel when he was 99. RCB was based on *Camilla's* ex husband of all people. ;)

She missed an enormous opportunity by not sticking it out for at least 5 years- there are no pictures of her with the family apart from the few already known pics- no hidden gems unless they’ll be released at 3pm on Saturday. She remains an actress who married a prince, and is not visible as a member of the royal family. And all the PR pushes in the world cannot undo that interview so they can’t come back without looking like hypocrites. Meh, I am so sick of the drama she has created.

I was hoping the time difference would prevent Markle from tuning in as she’d still be snoring in her feather bed but unfortunately we’re only eight hours ahead so 3pm in UK is 7am. Drat!

If these are photoshopped pictures ( which I think a lot are )why is no one else picking it up
Or are they keeping quite to save it all for one big exposure when the pair of what Freda says least expect it

I agree especially as it is oresented as TQs instructions... absolutely confirming what we all know and shutting down any bs of a rift healing or putting differences aside or Kate acting as peacemaker or whatever. Jeremy Vine has been race-baiting this morning... Why would you question the ethnic mix of a funeral service of 30 people? Royalty aside, it's the funeral of a white grandfather (with mixed ethnicity) and includes his children and grandchildren!! If he's digging around why Meghan isn't there then he's going about it in a poor way...

the_american_duchess Instagram account has an interesting slant on the wearing of uniform and walking behind the coffin. Some people on Twitter have suggested its Meghan who is behind it.

That makes no sense.

If not for COVID then I'm sure there would have been people of all colours and nationalities there. But since the 30 rule is in force of course a white man (of mixed heritage) who's children and grandchildren mostly married white partners is going to be white. It's not racist it's just his family.

You may as well ask "why no black people at a large Indian family funeral?" the answer is obvious.

If this was normal times and thousands of white people were invited but no POC then yes there might be an issue but this is ridiculous.

The amount of BAME people who have come out in personal support with a lot of fond, personal PP stories should challenge the idea that he was just an old racist.

If it's a way to angle Meagain into the conversation we already know why she's not there. Because she's voluntarily 3000 miles away. Because she's been advised not to travel and because a month ago she launched an attack on everything this man held dear. She doesn't want to be there, no one else really wants her there and it's a bad idea for her to travel. End of. The only reason she's suddenly popping up with "PP and I were close and had an amazing bond!!!" is because she wants to get involved in the story.

Totally agree! He's just trying to provoke someone/anyone. I just wish that the funeral would happen and all the speculation and digs would be over.

The private link is apparently to the same footage as the TV coverage but without commentary, so just the words and music of the service. It's a good alternative for family members.

I could see The Grieving Duchess turning up on Gayle King to talk about the very special private broadcast just for True Royalty like her duchessness though.

Personally I don't believe that either the Queen or Diana would have had an illegitimate child.
Both Andy and Hazno are legitimate members of the family.It's all stirring crappy rumours.

I have had 3 bereavements during covid lockdown.
Only 15 people were permitted each at each. No wake.
The funeral directors set up cameras to record the services inside the church/crematorium and a few hours later, they uploaded it to their website and it was only visible to people given a link and a password.
It remained there for 30days.

I can tell you it is very strange and you don't quite feel the same as you do after a funeral with no restrictions.

Also, a service for my friend's Mother was held at the Church where my friend had moved to, miles away. Fifteen people attended that, but there were friends and family in the deceased person's home town who could not go to the actual service, so the vicar of the Church in the home town kindly agreed to let 15 people go to her church and watch the service projected on a screen via zoom.
Then the service was put onto youtube for others to watch.


All have agreed to hold a memorial service and a wake later when restrictions lift.

I won't say the RF is pure as snow. Maybe the rumours do have some merit deep down since they just so dang aloof and secretive. Also, Andrew getting away scot-free hasn't helped either. But I would like to have faith in Kate and William if noone else. They seem genuine and I hope time proves me right.
