Harry and Meghan #90 Philip didn't want a fuss so let's make the funeral all about us!

The one thing about this funeral, is that it is a real wake up call for ginge and cringe about what they've left behind.

I mentioned this on a previous thread but there will be no more appearances on the balcony for either of them, no more state dinners, tiaras, no taking part in royal parades.

Next year, God willing, the Queen will celebrate 70yrs on the throne - the will be celebrations, street parties, tv shows, the whole shebang and they'll be sitting watching it on tv.

And that could be the first of many events - potentially the Queen's 100th birthday, 75yrs on the throne, the Queen passing away, Charles ascending to the throne.

And they'll be on the fringes of it all. Not in the heart of it.

The picture of Prince George with Phillip really hit home for me - how many photos do they have with Archie with his grandparents, great grandparents, uncle, aunt, cousins.

I predict they'll hot foot it over here as soon as wee Diana-Phillipa-Elizabeth is born to make sure they get a photo with the Queen 🤬🤬🤬

Which is exactly why I think Harry will end up like the late Duke of Windsor after giving up the throne to marry Wallis Simpson. He allegedly spent the rest of his life regretting his estrangement from his family, virtual exile from his country and loss of his involvement in royal duties and events. I don’t doubt Harry loves Meghan but the magnitude of what he has lost and abandoned as a result of his marriage must put a strain on the relationship.

There's also the story of the cracked pot. Sometimes a crack in something is not a bad thing and can lead to something beautiful in the future.


An elderly Chinese woman completed a daily trek to the stream past her home and back to supply her family with fresh water. In order to do this, she fashioned a heavy pot on each end of a long pole, which she carried across her shoulders.
One of the pots was in perfect condition and always delivered a full portion of water. The other had a deep crack in it, causing water to leak out. At the end of the long walk, the cracked pot arrived only half full.
This situation occurred daily for two years, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments. But the cracked pot was ashamed of its imperfection and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.
After two years of what it had perceived to be bitter failure, the cracked pot spoke to the woman by the stream. “I am ashamed,” it said. “This crack in my side causes water to leak out. You work so hard and yet have little water once you return home.”
The old woman smiled and replied, “Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path? I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path. Every day, while we walked back home, you watered those seeds and helped them to grow. For two years, I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table and give to neighbors. Without you being just the way you are, there would not have been this special beauty to grace our homes and lives.”

Luckily the figure paused dramatically in the doorway and the waiting backgrid photographer guy managed to get a good shot (of her, not at her. Unfortunately).

No idea who it is. Not a clue. Baffled. A conundrum wrapped in an enigma. :unsure:

I have to laugh as this statement and all of this puff PR they are putting out, tells me one thing. They have totally stuffed up and they know it. Now they want back in. Their little royalty of America was never going to compare to that of the Real Royalty and they can now see it. So got to backtrack completely and say how much they want to forgive and move on, really meaning move back in again. Of course being the dipshits they are they can’t say that they were wrong and can’t apologise. I know what I’d be saying to them, F@@@ Off, but that’s me.

And it was all so bloody unnecessary. Before that bleeping awful interview there still was a chance to mend fences and still stay in the loop somewhat. But they couldn’t see beyond their own self importance and selfishness. They had to try and blackmail the RF into getting what they wanted. They thought it would work, everyone would feel sorry for them and the RF would have to give them what they wanted. Big mistake. Whose laughing now dipshits.

I actually have never watched the interview - don't want to contribute to the view counts or whatever in any kind. I only read that it was about the bridesmaid dress... did she say what was the matter exactly?

Easily done, even better if he gets one of those notoriously unreliable tests, tests positive and then after the funeral, gets the PCR test and it's negative. Ooops, oh dear, so sorry, never mind.

I didn't watch the interview either, just read about it afterwards so anyone please correct me if I'm wrong here.
MM said Kate was upset about 'something' but didn't actually elaborate what it actually was. This obviously justified the witch to take great offense and make it public. Not taking into account that Kate was either heavily pregnant at the time, or had just given birth. Regardless of Kate's status, hormones at this time would have been at the highest level. Giving birth, milk coming in, healing and settling a new baby into the family with older children is a huge thing.
Now, why wouldn't MM understand any of this and have any understanding for the situation? Hey Megs??
The fact this was done knowing Kate is unable to comment is despicable.
