Its not like he has ever demonstrated that he has a shred of emotional maturity or emotional intelligence - absolutely this is an SS / MM tit stirring fluff piece.

Again with the tone deafness - on the surface it may seem grown up and mature but the audience would be his father who has just lost his own father ffs.

Its not all about you Harry ! Sometimes its ok to say absolutely nothing.

Considering Toby Blairs record as a whole, he is not fit to kiss the RF's families boots - and I am old enough to remember the lot.

I would not spit on TB if he was on fire.
 
In Kates shoes I would threaten divorce, not even joking.
For the rest of her life, Wills and her, not doing /having to do something because Harry.
How it looks right now even Markle could wriggle her way back in, there is sufficient media support, and sufficient bots to silence opposition, and the Queen is a wimp, Charles also.
George, Char, Louise not allowed to do something because Archie and Mercherela.
Same methods, remembering back there were indicators that Bea and Euge started the snobbery contest against Kate, because blood Princesses.
The reality is that they came close to half in, half out.
Harry may get the real deal, it seems, if its possible for Sarah to do a Oprah interview, merch, create a million scandals, and still be around the Queen, why not Harry.

The optics are terrible. The Queen and Charles capitulated in front of someone that wore a Nazi Uniform, at the funeral of a anti-Nazi fighter.

She was also unbelievably savvy and wily, the best PR genius the world has ever seen. Her son has shown himself not to have inherited any of that this week. For example, after her divorce she was desperate for a UK ambassador type role but the RF and the govt didn’t trust her at all and were saying no to all the trips she wanted to make. So she made a few short term concessions in hopes of achieving her goal. She was sweetness and light with Charles at William’s parents evening, she started making noises about being happy for he and Camilla to marry soon, and she stopped her involvement with Elton’s charity book. She’d been due to write the foreword but when she realised photos of royals would be juxtaposed with naked men and rock stars she pulled out, saying it would embarrass the RF. All that was hugely appreciated by them and had she lived, she was due to shortly be granted her wish.

With some grace and nice noises and bloody shutting up with the PR crap this week, Harry and Meghan could have begun a road to remaining peripherally part of the RF and their future events like Trooping, Ascot etc. All the tokens that we know they have to keep to convince potentially investing firms ‘we are still royal, really’. Their short sightedness and PR ineptitude stuns me. They’re killing their own ‘brand’ at a rate that even Fergie didn’t manage! For someone who we know has been obsessed with Diana from childhood, Meghan has learnt zero lessons from her MIL’s life!

Good point - I can see Anne in uniform but not the others... I don't really see why they have to have anything to do with the services if they haven't actually served in them - it is rather old-fashioned to automatically expect a Royal to be the head of these things. Ah well, it may be something that is addressed in the near future.
 
I don't have ayny respect for H and M, but if they had just put up that statement from H on their website at the start and done a media blackout and not push any PR peices until after the funeral then that would have given them a little bit of redepmtion (not much hoewever) in people's eyes. Even my mum who was all supportive of H and M started questioning them after the interview and these PR statements have really turned her off them, she said 'who cares why M is not there' . I feel the tide is turning, these PR statements are not helpin the little support they have left in the UK

I was under the impression that the funeral service will be filmed inside the chapel under the agreement that there are to be no close ups of people’s faces by the cameras.

Can anyone confirm whether this is true or not? If it is not being filmed, what is the point of it being televised if there is nothing to see?
 
I mean this just appeared on one of my work whatsapp groups. People that would never stand around and talk about royalty and so on, and a year ago if you'd said "Meghan" to them they'd have shrugged. But these pair of clowns have now managed to transcend everything, and become figures of fun for all, even the general public are laughing at them.

I really don’t think Kate would stoop so low as to threaten divorce just to get her own way. That type of emotional threat is on par with the type of behaviour H&M indulge in and we all know how petty, cruel, and nasty that makes them look. IMO, Kate is far too mature, intelligent, and secure in herself not to have to engage in that sort of emotional blackmail. I think anybody threatening divorce to point score and get what they want is absolutely disgusting behaviour. It is in the same league as using children as a bargaining tool in divorce situations. Cruel and selfish.

Princess Diana's funeral is here on YouTube, which gives you the idea of how everyone at home can follow the funeral service without intrusive close-ups. We'll see Charles reading the Eulogy in close-up, everyone else from above or a distance. Seems a good compromise.

Lickspittle Katie Nicholl is trying to magic up 'Harry reunites with The Queen' as being the purpose of Prince Philip's funeral. I guarantee he won't get within 20 feet of her.

I can see that if they don't put on a united front Harry could cause a lot of trouble between Charles and William in terms of their relationship.

It should be left to William and the courtiers to put the little oik in his place each and every time.

It's been said that it's televised. They advised people not to go to Windsor as there will be nothing to see, so to watch it from home on the tv
