Whilst I agree that the RF may need to review the 'of the body rules' to allow for surrogacy, with all that is going on both within the family and worldwide, I don't think that now is the right time to be debating it. They have shown themselves to be progressive, indeed at times they are far ahead of the trend (ecology, the environment and conservation) so I'm sure that IVF/surrogacy is not something they would be against/try to hide, but Harry and his offspring are far enough down the line of succession for it not to be a major issue at this time.

I think that as surrogacy is illegal in much of Europe that it would not be seen as acceptable at all. The RF are European royals and so far more aligned with those values than the values of the US (where obviously surrogacy is seen as acceptable). IVF is a completely different kettle of fish and I can't see why that would be an issue for the RF at all, it's just medical assistance after all. But surrogacy is so very controversial, especially given the potential issues around it appearing massively exploitative for someone as powerful as a royal using the body of a 'subject.'

MM would not be the first woman to use IVF to get pregnant promptly after deciding to start her family in her mid30s - entirely plausible.


This is where Markles has tripped up. How much easier it would been for here if she accepted the care of the Royal Medics & the usual protocols around the royal birth followed. Not a red flag to be seen.

Frozen eggs are expensive, they don't guarantee anything, and you don't hear about it half as often as the success stories.

 
I’ve been kicked off the MM Reddit board. I feel it may be because I’m a big fat racist.... one that had a party to celebrate H&M’s wedding... One that was happy for Harry, but then used the two orbs in my head and, sin of sins, questioned the behaviour observed via said orbs. Apparently having an opinion against the grain is to be silenced now... Dye my hair red and call me Ariel.
 
It's going to be so hard for William clapping eyes on his treacherous brother after all he did and said about him being trapped, the lies about Kate and everything else. And all while his grandfather lay dying. But I'm sure he will do his duty and try to rise above it. But I can't see any reconciliation at all. And that's not including Zara, Peter, Eugenie and Bea.

I hope so. They are underrated and unreservedly so. Sophie is a hidden gem. She is absolutely wonderful. I hope they get a bit more limelight now. Maybe they don't want it. They go about their duty in such a dignified and unassuming way. I'd love to hear more about them.

And Sophie had a bit of a tough time at the beginning but put her head down and put in the work... Meghan could have learned so much from her

If he did, I'd make him only wear the medals he's actually won. It'll soon look a bit plain.

I don't know if anyone else is feeling it but do you get the sense the overall mood of the public is changing now? The paper's today have started to subtly hint they both knew he was dying before the TV interview, their PR feels even more desperate than ever as they desperately play the loving grandson role and it just feels like the start of their downfall 🍿🍿🍿
