Of course I don't think anyone would say that racism is good. But Beyonce gets praised despite the fact she only started to celebrate her race once it became very lucrative. She didn't make a hard or brave choice, she followed the money. When I say she I mean more her team as I don't think she's a complicated individual.

At the beginning of her career she didn’t have any power over how she was presented. L’Oréal for example could lighten her skin in photos if they wished. Now she has a lot of power and makes sure she controls her image. She has a personal archive and person who documents her entire life. It sounds batshit to me but she can now present herself how she likes. And it makes her money.

Never commented on this thread but I’ve been lurking I find it quite frustrating that M&H can go on a tv programme and make all these claims but William says one sentence and is getting butchered on Twitter! Can’t both sides have a say now? Yes I’m surprised William answered the question and maybe PR wise he should have stayed quiet but wow all I see on my Twitter feed is people calling Meg a ‘Queen’ and ‘yes girl’ ‘karma to the royal family for Diana’

On the topic of names, Diana feels very possible because her other options are using it as a middle name and copying William and Kate, or having her daughter have less of a connection (in her mind). However it’s also hard for me to imagine her using any name that someone else in her life has had. I personally think the whole thing is about jealousy. Sibling rivalry. Haz has never grown up and is jealous of William and Kate. He thought and still thinks himself and his wife should have the same treatment as William and Kate. But they are higher ranking royals and will always have preferential treatment. He just can't swallow that. He was projecting when he said they were jealous of his wife. On the contrary!

The way she spoke about Kate being called waity katey was thinly veiled sarcasm. She wasn't just called that BTW. Her whole family including her mother came under fire. But she rode the storm and so did they.

There was so many inconsistencies in their stories it was actually laughable. They really shouldn't have come up with a plan and stuck to it.
