An article by a different RR today hints that KC has lost this battle and maybe PA has found the money.
PA is described as arrogant, self-righteous and stubborn for not moving out.
Most people are not interested, and PA may be all these things but RL is his home no matter how big or how long he's been there. (In this case if he can maintain it.)
That is the law.
I've never heard of someone finding money to carry out repairs to their home being called "brazen" for doing so.
The other royals (and aides) must be in despair. IF PA has found a lifeline of sorts, KC will be incandescent.
If he's found the money let him get on with it. No more reporting on this or PA.
The question remains, why does Chuck want him out? I think there must be more to this as we've been told so many different stories about RL none of which make sense.
Maybe Camilla wants to move some of her family in to be nearby - and save them some money - considering all the properties they have between them it does seem odd this story keeps coming up. Unless they want to hire it out for weddings and events like Balmoral

I have no doubt he has the money. He is just too tight to spend it.
I think he believes if he leaves it for long enough the the Crown Estate will come in and undertake all the repairs.

I agree although I also think there's a lot in the reports of a PR related reluctance to allow him to spend questionably provenanced cash on maintaining his pile.

Problem is that much like many stately piles it's turning into an enormous drag.

How our ancestors didn't forsee this is beyond me.

Thanks @Moronic and @DanDanTheIceCreamMan for the title and recap.

I agree that Donald is unlikely to cause a fuss and deport the Stoat. If Harris had won, I doubt she'd have done so either. Neither will want to make an issue of it, for different reasons. It will be quietly glossed over and the Stoat will stay protected and free to come and go.

Neil Sean thanks @wibble on the daft epidural story and as @Elainne said he had nothing new to say. I did wonder if Trevor Engelson has been silenced along with the rest of them, resulting in a total shutdown on her first / second marriage? Neil said that so far Trevor has "refused" to reveal anything but maybe he's been shut down too? No photos of the wedding etc, but whole chunks of the Ho's history has been wiped so why not this as well?
I wonder if Donald would intervene though if Harold started trying to shut down free speech or spouting anti American rhetoric as in his description of the bonkers first amendment.
---
Trevor is probably too embarrassed to admit he married her and is trying to forget it
I imagine that's why he's never said anything, when he heard the news that she had back surfed her way to the top nearly (what's the saying, close but no cigar) he probably just ordered in a mammoth supply of popcorn and settled back to watch the show.
He is much happier now by all accounts and one of the few people in the world who knew with 100% certainty what was going to happen, her brother warned everyone too and her sister and. . . .

I'd hoped that Robert Hardman was taking a break but here he is again. This is our king rewriting history to flatter himself as he has done since The Queen died.

On evicting PA, Hardman now suggests that King Charles did not immediately carry out his late mother’s wishes "as an act of clemency." "He's done all he can to help his brother, hasn't played hardball with him, and not booting him out has been an act of mercy by the Monarch".
 😂
PA's no longer costing Chuck anything. His lease is watertight and Chuck can't break it.

"Andrew has brazenly found other sources of income to fund life in RL and the improvements needed." How very dare he find money for his repairs!! Brazen, much?

As Chuck can't throw him out, history's being rewritten and he's saying he didn't evict PA as his Mother wished because he's "clement and merciful".
These weren't his late Mother's wishes, and he's trying to use her to cover his own vile behaviour.
Chuck lies as easily as breathing.
Hiding behind a woman's skirts, how brave he is. There is something/someone that he wants RL for and it can't be for his traitor of a son Harold so what's his reason?
---
We don't know if it's true, but if PA has found the money to carry out repairs as Hardman reported, KC would have no option but back off. Hardman is Chuck's mouthpiece, so I'd guess if he says PA's found the money it could be true.

Possibly PA's called in some favours. If he can show he can carry out the repairs, he can't be evicted. If he can carry out the repairs KC will be well pissed off, as it's not often he doesn't get his own way, and he's gone all-out on this for years.

Daily Express today
"New Court. The Inside Story, which is being serialised in the Daily Mail, author Robert Hardman said that Andrew has brazenly found other sources of income to fund life in Royal Lodge and the improvements that are needed to it.

This includes sorting out the mould issue within the home, with part of the lease agreement being that the residence will be kept in good condition throughout."
The brass neck of PA raising and using his own money to make repairs on his own home. He is a bloody anarchist in my opinion.

How much for a pack of 12 including postage and package. I would love to be able to send these to my friends 😄
Me too, I really wish they were available to buy.

Maybe Fergie started a Go Fund Me for him so she wouldn't be thrown out of the house.

Give the man a break Charles only has a dozen or so homes, he may need it for himself.

Yes maybe Charles wants it for the PBs family, he likely knows how much William will appreciate having them on his doorstep long after Charles is pushing up the fleur-de-lis.

Ohhh! Nothing makes me feel more Christmassy than a grifting race baiter!

It’s very clear to me that all of these people cottoned on pretty quickly that posing as an advocate for [pick a bandwagon] would give them the exposure they needed to shill and make money. Low and behold - suddenly producers are lining up to get them on a panel show or in the jungle eating kangaroo anus.
It’s almost as if these media types enjoy and pointedly relish the division these people create.

Anyway - Superdrug will be my go to shop for my tampons and wet wipes from now on. Boots want to reward a racist then i’ll give them a wide berth.

Andrew rattles around in that Lodge like like a fat rancid twit, treating it as his personal fiefdom. The money he "brazenly" acquired is dodgy as hell! He has taken money/ loans from many disreputable people that we know if from his "trade envoy"" status.
He's a tenant. Full stop. The place is a shithole, and the sooner the king gets him out the better. He's been a parasite, who knows how many times he's been told to maintain it, or get out? Charles has more patience than most landlords!!!! Jmo

Is there any chance KC wants RL for his Darlingest Darling Boy upon his return to Brittain? Something for Poor Widdle Prince Shirley when William is King?

I doubt if William wants Harry in Windsor near his kids.

Personally I think KC is on the warpath because he is committed to preserving historical buildings and he hates the fact that a building of such historic importance is falling into disrepair.

Personally I would not be surprised if having PA move WAS something TQ was considering when PA was not a working royal. TQ certainly played hardball in the past concerning properties - she threatened to evict Prince Michael of Kent about 20 years ago unless a more market rent was paid.

Other Royals higher in the LoS live more modestly. PPoW lived in Nottingham cottage (the frat house) in their early marriage and when George was a baby - they currently mostly live in Adelaide house - a 4-bed with 3 kids plus the London apartment at KP. Harry and Meghan got the 4/5 bed Frogmore Cottage.

So why does PA need to rattle around in a 30 room mansion with his ex-wife (who rents out her own property) when he can't afford the upkeep? It's not like he has to carry out official entertaining for RF duties and charities. Downsizing is something many people have to consider when they approach retirement

Maybe she mortgaged her London townhouse estimated value £4.25 million - or kicked in some of the £200,000 per year that she gets from renting it out to pay her living expenses in Windsor
Did they ever sell that ski chalet? The money they have got through over the years that they have begged, stolen and borrowed (the bank of Epstein) - what do they spend it on for goodness sake? It wouldn’t surprise me if they take hand outs from their children and PA must have had inheritance money from HMLQ. What’s the point of stashing it away and living in a dilapidated home.
