Would Chris Ship like to reveal his tax bill for us all to see …… I suspect not? If Wills doesn’t have to reveal his then so be it. Ship by name, tit stirrer by nature.

I think William should reveal his tax bill.
Not doing so will make people think he is hiding something dodgy.
Big mistake not to reveal it, in my opinion.

Reading the new Letters Patent, there's now no mention that you have to be UK resident to be a CoS. It simply says that somone can act as a CoS provided he is in the UK when the Monarch is absent from the UK. So Harald could come over and get stuck in while KC is in Samoa. The Stoat is now on the same footing as Anne and the others.

An overseas resident can come over to BP and stand in for the Monarch and take part in decision-making even if they have no grasp of the facts. That Harald is unlikely to be called upon isn't the point. Like he's in the LoS, it's not good enough, as things can change in the blink of an eye.
All protections should have been put in place, but the Stoat's feelings come before the safety of the Monarchy.

Correct, that's how I understand it too. However, His Hairlessness would need access to Papas papers, which will be heavily guarded. And, that would mean he'd need to enter a Palace or royal building. So, Charles mustn't forget to tell security that on no occasion should his youngest drip be allowed on royal premises. 😁

I'm counting on that. Harry and Meghan have insulted, disrespected and trod on his family enough times over the years, that a person would have to be living on Jupiter not to see that they have been very much unfriendly towards all of them. In addition, for people who craved their privacy, they have been making statements, pushing pictures and pontificating on all sorts of subjects for years. People that want privacy keep the pie hole closed and say nothing. Publish a book with your most intimate memories. Make a Netflix series showing your life. Have an interview with Oprah. By all means, do all of this and tell us how much you want your privacy and don't want a media presence. The media has been giving them exactly what they have wanted, i.e. an outlet to air all their grievances. Why bite and sue the hand that is feeding you fame Harry? To blame the media at this point is pretty funny since H&M have spent millions over the years paying PR people to keep their names front and center.

I think the treatment of Catherine by the press over her Mother’s Day photo changed everything and has made Wills retreat back into his shell a bit more. He seems more wary now of revealing things to the press, and who can blame him. He values his family life more than anything and will protect their privacy whenever he can. The public don’t have to know everything and if he doesn’t have to reveal his tax bill then why should he?

He is going back to how the RF used to be .... a bit secretive, a bit mysterious and probably thinks that the least the media knows about his business the better. I don’t think people will think he is hiding something dodgy, he is not that sort of person ........ now if it were his brother that would be a different kettle of fish!

I remember something being reported when TLQ died about the Duchy changing hands midway through the accounting period and how it would be handled. IIRC instead of two 12-month periods it would be 6 months and then 18 months. William will know what he's earned but he may not know his exact tax liability yet.

The media just want to compare what KC3 paid with what William paid and find something wrong with William's amount, even though his tax code and allowances won't be the same as his Dad's. Anything to use against him. Frankly, after the year he's had so far I'll give him a pass for 2023.

Is Shippy as interested in Hazza's tax status in the US? He's been there for 20/21, 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24 now. That's four tax years. He has income. He's claimed he's now resident in the US. Has he paid any over there? Or here?

And yes, why DON'T they investigate Harry's tax payments and status?


But by refusing to publicise his tax payments, William has given more ammunition to the anti-royals and most likely attracted even more criticism towards himself.

With all the stuff he's had to cope with recently, I think it would be better to just disclose this info.
He can't be accused of tax dodging etc then.

I am bringing this over because the majority of the sugar squad are under 30 IMO. They don't know or could possible remember all the things that went on with Diana. He was a nice good looking fellow who was lacking. 25 years since their death, and she is being brought up as a fashion icon by the under 25 year olds because she wore a blouse and a skirt and a black dress. Ground breaking, to quote Miranda Priestly. It is the same mindset as the squaddies. They weren't alive at the time and it is all new to them. As for the fashion, the under 25 set is mesmerized at the thought of wearing real clothing since all they know are jeans, leggings and sweat suits. They envy her chic thin figure and don't realize that it went along with her drug habit. Coke was as big in the fashion crowd as it was in the rock music crowd. The fashion magizines are enjoying pushing a retrospective of CBK because it helps to sell real clothes. Harry pushes his mother because it validates his leaving his family and responsibilities to turn himself into a full time whinging twunt..

We're not alone.

The Mirror is a bit half and half, but the DE is full-on Tattle territory. The DM gets infiltrated by Squaddies but you can see from the downvotes that ordinary posters aren't having any of it.

And don't forget that you have to have a paid subscription to the DT to be able to comment on their articles. These comments aren't coming from bots/trolls.

You can see why Haz hates the UK media. They have the audacity to allow the plebs to voice their opinions. And voice them they certainly do.

Haz can control the journalists to a certain extent. But he can't control the rest of us.
 
I think the press are in cahoots with each other and playing the long game.
One paper posts that Harry is about to get A £7m inheritance.
The other paper posts Megan’s in jeans , shirt and designer bag and umpteen thousand dollars worth of jewellery.
I think there is a bit of of you post this, I’ll post that, just wait for the idiot turning up for his court case…..

He also ignores the fact that Mummy was mates with his other archnemesis, Piers Morgan. She had him to lunch at KP. Piers would have been at the Sun, the NotW or the Mirror at the time.

She certainly didn't loathe the tabloids. She pretended to when it suited.

I bet old Piers has a few more tales to tell. When the time is right.
