Discussion on the previous thread re. the age of those who might remember Harold's mummy. Harold's Mummy Who Died.

None of my kids (early thirties and downwards) remember us taking them to London to have a nose round BP and neighbouring areas and view the wall of flowers the day after the funeral.

Naively enough I thought the world's press would have shut up shop and fucked off home. I was literally stunned to discover various global press awnings still standing and weary reporters still having to gabble at the cameras more than 24 hours later 👽

Thank you everyone for my first ever thread title, proposed by Hamster @Scotch Mist .
Thanks @Chita for starting the thread.

Reading the new Letters Patent, there's now no mention that you have to be UK resident to be a CoS. It simply says that somone can act as a CoS provided he is in the UK when the Monarch is absent from the UK. So Harald could come over and get stuck in while KC is in Samoa. The Stoat is now on the same footing as Anne and the others.

An overseas resident can come over to BP and stand in for the Monarch and take part in decision-making even if they have no grasp of the facts. That Harald is unlikely to be called upon isn't the point. Like he's in the LoS, it's not good enough, as things can change in the blink of an eye.
All protections should have been put in place, but the Stoat's feelings come before the safety of the Monarchy.

Well done for finding this @ChipDex . We'd never have known.

Charles and Catherine announce they have cancer, Princess Anne gets taken to hospital - all in the space of a few months.


Charles didn't want to humiliate Harry by removing him, but he shows his contempt for all of us by NOT removing him.

Then people wonder why many of us do not like Charles.
He proves himself over and over again to be spoiled and petulant. He always wants his own way and doesn't care about anyone else.

This makes sense except I don't believe Harald got caught with his pants down. Imo he played a blinder. Of course the other parties have copies of the messages and they won't want to turn over drafts of Spare to NGN lawyers. What's stopping them doing just that? Harald knows exactly why. This was never about "prior knowledge" of phone-hacking. The bait was that the prior knowledge was in the drafts and messages between Harald, Moehringer and BP. Maybe it was.

BP won't turn over their data, so in effect they're unwillingly colluding with Harald. I think they paid him to "delete" the data, thinking that would be the end of it, but now he's come round the back and is publicly trying to get them to join forces with him. He knows above all that they want the data to stay hidden, and isn't trying to "shame" them.

Possibly this is what this case was really about, and why he did it through the Courts. High profile, and now pretending to challenge his family to join him in taking on the press. It's bizarre how quickly this has turned into something else entirely, but that's the Stoats for you.

The dishonesty of all the parties involved will catch up with them eventually. Jmo.
