Normally more photos are on display I think? This year It's her father (King George), her husband (Prince Phillip), her firstborn with his wife (Prince Charles and Camilla), and his firstborn and family (William and co). That's a message of security and consistency of the line.

The Queen's cousins, Anne, Edward, and Sophie have all ably shown how being 'extra' royals can and should be done. H & M should look to them in the new year for guidance.

In case anyone misses it, this is a rare example of me, a random person on the Internet, admitting I was wrong.

As much as I'm a royalist, I do now wonder whether the Harry/Meghan omission is deliberate, and I'm a bit sad for little Archie (despite having forgotten he existed). Mea culpa.

so they did not listen to BP at the very beginning when Meghan’s family started with the drama? Cause everyone was looking at BP and KP for comment and they said they wont even react.
and even if FC was renovated on “taxpayers money”, check how much they bring in altogether. Honestly these arguments are so ill informed.
Yeh they fucked up but every single time someone bring up money, there is never a legit argument.

Also Meghan was pretty famous in the US and was pretty dang well off.
they messed up because everyone thought she would handle it better so there was no proper prep for anything.
There are plenty of things you can hate on them for but check your facts because being ignorant and hateful at the same time is just vile.
also if BP puts out a statement saying Prince Philip’s hospitalization was a precaution and a planned thing and then Harry rushes home the two kinda contradict each other. I think the whole Prince Andrew scandal shows how the royal family still doesnt know how to handle the public and the press.
 
Yeah the idea they are ignoring prince Philip on his deathbed is such nonsense. The queen was seen travelling to Sandringham at basically the same time her husband was going in the other direction to the hospital - it was obviously deliberate. That and the mention of his “pre existing condition” in the press release are clearly to signal it’s not an emergency- (as much as a 98 year old spending time in hospital can be) and business as usual. Harry rushing home would totally undermine that, and if anyone ordered him to stay put it would much more likely be the Queen herself. It would only take two minutes looking into how the story played out on Friday to see that.

Not sure I’d need much more convincing to pop in for a hospital visit if it was my Grandparent! Especially if I had no money worries and could just jet about whenever I wanted. It would take Harry literally 24 hours out of his 6 week holiday. If the worst happens then H&M will always be remembered as the selfish, out of touch twats that they really are.

As for the Queen, she’s so ace, spot on with her PR and in this occasion has got it bang on with omitting H&M and Andrew from the photo line up. She’s one in a million.

I can see why Harry would be pissed that Will and Kate didn’t do more “PR work”for them, seeing as they are both experienced their fair share of media scrutiny- wasn’t that long ago that they sued magazines because of those topless photos.
One small thing that people seem to forget - they are NOT funded by the taxpayer. The royal family brings in far more money than what they get and they pay tax on their private businesses too. With this being said, when you live such a public life, there should be more consideration into what you do and maybe better handling of the public and how things are presented.
What the British royal family doesnt seem to learn is that if they want to have any control on their image, they have to let the people in.
Also everyone was torn apart by the media. Diana, Kate and now Meghan. Honestly the haters were hating on Kate for everything before Meghan.
I think Harry is handling it in a stupid way. He became harsh on people instead of playing the good guy so the bad press os outweighed by their actions and no one can have a bad word.
I dont think they will get divorced. They will move abroad, to a commonwealth country and that will be it. It’s fair to say, as being 283637283th in life for the throne,they were thinking they can be a lot more lax and it backfired.

He wasn’t rushed to hospital in an ambulance. That’s just not true. He either flew by helicopter to London then took a car, or was driven the whole way - but he walked into the hospital either way. And it was “at the advice of his doctor” not some sudden emergency.
And while I agree any 98 year old in hospital has to be taken relatively seriously, as I said, I feel the actions of his wife and children say all that’s needed to be said. They are hardly holding a bedside vigil. Of course something could go wrong at his age but currently things are clearly stable so why would he cause a panic flying over when the Queen hasn’t even left Sandringham?

The Queen puts duty over everything...... The show must go on....... The whole country waits to see them at Christmas, but I guarantee as soon as Xmas is over she'll be right there with him.
