I’ve been a lurker for a while but this is my 1st post on this thread.

Can I just say I really enjoy reading this thread, everyone listens to what others say and answer them respectfully, unlike many other threads which give tattle a bad name!

I personally think, a divorce is looming. He realises he’s gotten himself in too deep with the wrong person (hope he realises that anyway). I don’t think he has always wanted “freedom” from the royal family. He would be bugger all if he had come from a different family. I don’t think he realises quite how privileged he is (or was) and now he’s pissed all that away for someone who’s only in it for herself. She wanted to modernise the monarchy, create her own rules and ignore royal traditions and when people realised that she threw her toys out of the pram, made out she’s been consistently victimised and attacked by “racist media” when that isn’t the case in my opinion. She didn’t get her own way and she didn’t like it. Just my opinion though !

I’m on the fence re the divorce. I think he’s far to stubborn and arrogant to admit he made a mistake (yet) and she hasn’t quite accomplished using him for his status. I think divorce will come, but not for a while yet. I hope I’m wrong though. And he’d have to do a lot of grovelling and show a lot of humility before I would ever want him back in the uk.

Oh god yes I agree, I’m not sure when, if he’s back in the uk WITHOUT Meghan, he will have time to think, evaluate and perhaps even talk to someone he trusts about a divorce, he has no one in America apart from Meghan and Archie, he has no one there to talk to about how he feels and what he’s thinking, which is perhaps why he looks so dishevelled and rough in any little thing we see him in since megxit. I think the sooner he leaves her and comes back, the easier it will be, the longer he leaves it, with court cases, Meghan threatening to sue anyway and the shocking slander of the royal family, there will be no way back for him then.
 
They've found another poor naive charity to use for their PR and then toss aside. When will these charities learn to disassociate themselves from the Finding Freebies grifters. You only have to look at the comments to see that any hint of association with Smegs and Hazard is highly toxic.

Oh and YET AGAIN how is this sort of letter the actions of a couple who fervently claimed they wanted to back away from the spotlight? Pair of absolute liars as well as chancers and grifters.

Excellent summary welcome to the thread, I think that's pretty much what most of us think on here.
Harry must start to realise that he cannot get embroiled in any political movement and Meghan will obviously not hold back. She will do whatever serves her best with no reference to the neutrality that the royal family are supposed to observe. This has to lead to them splitting eventually as if he goes too far down this route he will not be welcomed back in this country.

To a certain extent the royal family have to move with the times and they have certainly been proactive recently engaging in things like video platforms. Essentially the traditions, pomp and ceremonies are what people expect from them. They are figure heads and public servants who act diplomatically welcoming other heads of state. Meghan obviously didn't understand that they have to remain politically neutral because politics is not their job.

She was an arrogant egotistical fool believing that she could change everything to suit her and that she would be free to voice her own opinions on everyone.

She wants fame and attention. It’s simple as that. Marrying Harry didn’t get her the attention she wanted. Now she thinks she can be president? God help America that’s all I say

I have an account with Ancestry and the official California birth index records show her birth in Los Angeles on 4 August 1981 with the mother's maiden name being Ragland. Those are official records, same as our birth records here in the UK.

I'm English in the UK but saw them in the Spar in Vienna, I love seeing different spellings and languages on items I see in England ..I find it fascinating x

Sour cream is another flavour I saw in Vienna..wouldn't be too keen on that one myself lol 😄 x

In my experience German crisps are much better than UK crisps.🧸 I bet Poppea will agree 😆
