Bank holidays are only given for senior royals. We didn't have one for Eugene, Andrew and Sophie, Anne and either of her husbands or Andrew and Fergie (if memory serves!). Wills and Kate had one, as did Charles and Diana because the men are in direct royal succession, not because it was a royal wedding.

The Queen's own wedding was on a Saturday. If it's a tradition, it's hardly set in stone and I found nothing on line citing this tradition - perhaps you could link something I've missed?

As for the location, that's something we'll never know though it's well documented Liz adores Windsor and their courtship (🤮) occured there, so I could imagine her being sycophantic enough to hold it there for those reasons alone. Again - we'll never know but Westminster and St Pauls are usually senior royals only as other weddings prove. (I think Andrew and Fergie and Anne's first marriage were at Westminster, but William and Harry weren't born for those so they were higher up the line of succession).

Yep agree - didn't mention privacy of the venue or otherwise. And doesn't she know Windsor is Liz's weekend home? She's not going to give it up. 🙄

May have been mentioned as I’m catching up but I think I’ve read that Harry and Meg practically stole Eugenies wedding - date, location etc. It was rushed through. This would back up the Saturday and non central
London location theory too?

The response! Appears to be throwing some shade at the judge!

Are they *that* stupid to keep pursuing this and rocking the boat over something so stupid as a few avocados and an expensive baby shower?

If I was MeAgain with her 'rumoured' past I'd have been getting up and kissing the floor every morning that the papers hadn't spilled the real tea they could have of ex con mother, yachting, drugs, bearding, marriages, dodgy finances, maybe a moon bump, a child's birth date that moves up and down the calendar like a brides nightie ...to name a few.

The RF background checks would've thrown up the lot. Whilst she's still hitched to H, will they protect him from the reflected shame or let him pack his own parachute? Remember the Queenie stepping in and suddenly "remembering" she'd gifted auld Burrell, Diana's Rock (sure he doesn't mention it *much*) a few trinkets in order to stop his trial and prevent a few closet inhabiting skeletons out?

Oh these gender bending times: thank god we dont have bathrooms here (or prison cells). Im Mr Antinoos on this site, my nickname here bestowed by others is "Aunty"; which is sweet just like me, Ive always got an arsenic flavoured gum drop lurking amongst the wraps and condoms at the bottom of my handbag...Mrs Antinoos is the wife whos birthday it was yesterday xx

Oh and I was assigned male at birth and Ive always been quite happy about that

Oooh and if I ever described Mrs A as "the wife" in public she would deck me

Thanks for all your help on this thread for us thicks.....MR A

I don't understand this.
They call the Mail the "Fail", derogatorally (is that a word? duck knows😅.) Nor would a paper dox a number of people over a crappy c list actress. It would be press suicide and a half decent SJW pro bono lawyer would crucify them just for shits n giggles.

I really don't know what the feck this is about to be honest, so I find it hard to comment on, even though it smacks of being in some way juicy.

I need help. Words of one syllable please for the chronically thick.
Googling Doxx as we speak..... 👩🏻‍💻

Then to add insult to injury Meghan turned up in a maternity coat getting all eyes on her from people thinking is she isn't she ? THEN if that wasn't bad enough, they announced the pregnancy at the reception

Generalising here, obviously, but in the main the UK loved the Obamas. To the point that when he left office there were a fair few memes doing the rounds asking if we could borrow him to be our Prime Minister for a few years if the US didn't want him any more.

Wow they had y'all snowed big time!!!!

And finally...Isnt it almost poetic how this has worked out. Skids only real claim to fame is having played a paralegal in some zlist cable series. Ultimately I think it will be this case and its ramifications that finally bring her down. Even somone as stupid as Harry is going to start to realise he has been misled and that she's at best a nutter.

Imagine the levels of anxiety and paranoia? They're living in rented accomodation in one of the weirdest places on earth under the present ultra-weird circumstances. They have no real money just the no doubt very circumscribed remittance payments from Papa (who is famously careful with the bawbies) and everything but everything has gone wrong. They cannot trust their former friends never mind the murderously expensive lawyers. Hollywood is not knocking at the door; no-one in his family will speak to Harry; they are an international laughing stock and one of the worlds richest and most powerful media organisations is organising a public execution - at their expense.

You would need a heart of stone not to laugh - I'm heading back to the Gin.
Well that explains it; but Aunty Legal you will remain!

How nice that you’ve generously shared your knowledge and insight with us.
We are a pack of quite appreciate witches really. 🐶🐩🐕🐶🐩🐕
I hope that Mrs Antinoos had a great birthday and appreciates your new pet name.

So this was retweeted by Murky Meg. Omid Scobie was on TV talking about the letter Meghan wrote to her father. He explicitly says that the letter was written with the public in mind, that Meghan always knew that the letter would be made public.

Doesn't this expose Meghan completely? In court she wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Omid is Meghan's mouthpiece. I hope the Mail's lawyers know about this.

Bugger, that tweet is gone now, been deleted :(

Whilst making the hangover pizza Ive just listened to Murky Meg's take on this.

I like Meg shes smart, she puts in the hours and she has insight and presence . Dare I say as someone who has had to explain legal doings to people of all levels of social and intellectual attainment no-ones listening after the first sub-paragraph of detail. Nevertheless her analysis is first rate. Two things leapt out at me:

1) Everyone knows the 5 stoodges story is made up. The interesting question legally is Why?

2) The Judge really did, in the nicest possible way, do her up the botty. If he had been even vaguely sympathetic there were many opportunities in the judgment to make less destructive and damaging conclusions. He has a very high reputation Mark Warby as a clever and sensible Judge (a rare combination) and I think he did so: (a) to protect the jurisdiction of his court from being overwhelmed by stupid attempts by people like Hugh Grant to use it to silence proper criticism of our lords and master; (b) to give a very clear signal to Megs, and the important people who will be reading this in the super-smart (and ruthless) structure surrounding the BRF that this case is going to fail.

The big problem for Megsy and Stoopid is that bleeping idiotic statement last week about "zero engagement" with the Mail and other representatives of the common people who pay the pair of feckless bastards bills. How do you negotiate a way out with thsoe with whom you have zero engagement without doing Cersei Lanisters walk of shame?

Character, as Aristotle sort of said,Is Fate.

goodnight

Think that sums it up nicely:m

The first sentence ‘The claimant may need no introduction...’ followed by the description of how public her life was before she met Harry, surely means her claims for privacy are already on a sticky wicket.
