Kate focusses on the people she's visiting and speaking to, Markle is too busy turning round and gurning for the cameras. Thank god she's leaving, can't be doing with looking at those new teeth all the time.

I always love how no matter where the camera are Meghan's always facing them, whereas with the other royals you mostly get the side of their head unless the photographer is planted right in front of them.

Being strong doesn't mean you have to be right at the front everytime, it's knowing you can stand anywhere, be anywhere in the running order. Being strong is standing back and letting others take centre stage. I hated camilla but I've got to give it to her she's kept her head down worked hard and turned it round.

People realised that C&C really loved each other and their relationship has stood the test of time. The marriage to Diana wasn't in either of their best interests. I'm not excusing affairs but the C&C relationship hasn't been shortlived. She doesn't steal the limelight and has just got on with it as you say. As for Kate, she generates interest without even trying! She isn't an attention seeker, works hard and is glorious to look at to boot!

I genuinely think she thinks she’s updating the RF. The trouble is the RF only works because it’s traditional and based on an archaic way of doing things. It’s why we keep funding them - nothing changes, don’t try to rock the boat. Smile nicely in stupid hats, shake hands, walk in order of precedence etc. It’s not actually a huge amount of effort for a life of fantastic wealth and privilege.

But for someone who’s updating she does like the HRH and the references to ‘born royal’ wayyyyyy too much...

I think some of them are playing a game.....they are loving to talk about her.....and using her to sell press inches, but in reality most of them feel the same about her as this place does.... something about damning with faint praise. I think most of them like to stick the knives in the pair of them, but they cant be seen to be too bitchy....so they do both....praise and witch!!

I spose in a way Harry is being commendable for sticking with his wife and child and trying to keep his family together... But at what cost...They are ruining the reputation of the RF and making themselves into a laughing stock

It’s why we keep funding them - nothing changes, don’t try to rock the boat. Agree. I think Meghan should have spent more time prior to the marriage looking at the ethos of the British RF. She could have made the decision that it goes against what she stands for and her and Harry could have exited then.

I think she had masterminded a huge plan to get the status secure before walking away. Knowing it would raise their profile stateside enabling them to pull in the high paid gigs.

Personally, I think the RF should agree to fund their security while in the UK but if they choose to live outside of that then they should have to make their own provisions.

Still inconsiderate bastards not bring Archie. They could have come for a few weeks to spend time with the family. He will be growing quickly. No reason not to bring him as they would have travelled private or commercial first class. Perhaps she doesn't want to take him out of Canada for residency reasons but I don't get two parents leaving a young child behind without good reason.

I've just been thinking and I wouldn't be surprised if Camilla is not only royally pissed off at Megan and Harry because of the show they make of themselves but the very fact that the queen allowed them to marry, despite Meghan being all those things seems traditionally as big royal no no's for a royal bride. I know Charles is next in line to the throne and the rules are different but Camilla was deemed to common and not virginial enough to be a royal bride. Leading to years of heartbreak and affairs on both sides until they queen finally let them marry and since the she has worked to prove her worthiness of being royal, where as Megan rocks up from america and does everything in her power to break the rules and cause havoc. I am not Camilla fan but I can see how she can be annoyed.

Thing is you can't just marry into an institution that, like you said, only survives because of its traditions etc, and expect to change everything in a few short months. She came in like a wrecking ball (to quote someone else lol) and then ran off when it all went pear shaped. Stupid is as stupid does.

Since Bob Iger was sacked from Disney; I think a lot of people will be wary of engaging the Harkles.
i reckon that within a year ( by the time the 12 month review period is up) Meghan will be dumping Harry, staying in Hollywood and selling the victim card. It’s all she’s got left and much as Harry loves the positive press, I think it’s going to be hard for him to sell out his family.
Meghan has no scruples She’s kept a diary and her , will go for an expensive divorce settlement.

Something rather disturbing I read on another forum, is that by black women, she is seen as a role model, because she has “ bettered” herself. They do not seem at all bothered by her “mistakes” / disrespectful and entitled behaviour.
So in America, Meghan will be able to do no wrong.
Even as a divorceee, she will be known as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, unless the Queen’s lawyers find a way of stripping her of her title.

As an American citizen maybe she wouldn’t be allowed to keep a title if divorced? If HM strips the titles before any divorce she couldn’t use it hopefully.

Bloody hell her eye makeup is AWFUL. Doesn't that arselicker of a makeup artist know you can buy BLACK eyelash glue AND you are supposed to BLEND in the darker eyeshadow shade not just blob it on her eyelid!

All this fuss over the photo of them under the umbrella smiling at each other , Even Piers Morgans gushing about it...I'm disappointed Piers I'm disappointed! on about how in love they are. No one begrudges anyone being in love but just a few things I want to point out.....

1. Shes in love with Harry because shes never met such a dopey pushover who will do and let her do whatever she wants. 'what Meghan wants Meghan gets' remember folks!

2. just because they are in love doesn't mean they have the right to disrespect the Queen and our Country!

3. As basic as her acting was in Suits she is after all a actor so all her 'look of love' looks is just that.... ACTING!

EXACTLY. Harry and Meagain were at an award ceremony. Where is the coverage of the people who received awards? Kate, Wills, The Queen and others all know that whilst they may be attendance at these events, the media coverage needs to be about the normal people who do extraordinary things.

However, I can just imagine her coercing him to stay just so she could get the title and accolades of being royal. I'm sorry but who really cares if they are in love? I mean it's lovely and I actually hope they are but it doesn't make them special or worthy of praise does it? Being 'in love' is not a career choice or job. All the Twitter 'ah they are so in love' - well they should be, they've only been married 5 minutes - it is not an achievement unique to them.

And I agree with comments that people forget the appalling derision and abuse Camilla got for years. Mainly for her looks. She was mocked regularly and cruelly for being 'old' and 'ugly' on programmes like Have I Got News For You (which they would not dare do with Meghan Markle). She has kept her head down with, as far as I can see, dignity and good humour and has quietly grafted away at quite unfashionable causes. If anyone seemed in a position unlikely to turn the tide of public opinion it was her - openly hated for her role in the fate of Diana. She must've seen at the beginning the look of disappointment on people's faces when a Royal visit was announced and she turned up. I wonder how many times she complained that people never asked her if she was OK. I suspect not once.

I think based on the fact that Meghan obviously doesn't want to be in this country a minute longer than necessary (leaving baby doll behind) I really don't think we will see or hear much about them. Once the big exit is over they will be old news.
