There is another video from Celt where she talks through what is happening but I cannot find it - it explains that it was only for senior royals and the equerries can be seen in the background escorting PBW and her out of the opposite door - the end of the video shows PBW sitting in another room looking pretty pi@@ed - unsure if anyone else knows where the link is - hope this clarifies 😀 please shout if I have misunderstood 😀

There are other video clips of this event further back in the threads that make it a bit more clear.
The display table was for the Senior Royals only to inspect and those Seniors were meant to file through the door in order of status.
You see them make their way from the left of your screen and move along to the right.
Further to the right [where the Equerrys are trying to usher Harry & Meghan] are some doors to another room where everyone else is seated waiting for the senior Royals to enter and take their seats at the front.

Harry & Meghan were supposed to be sitting in there with everyone else waiting.
They took it upon themselves to stand at the first door and were going to come through to the display table without following the pecking order.

Charles knew what they were up to and told them to stand back because its 'senior Royals first,'

Harry knows the protocol. He just chooses to ignore it because he thinks it doesn't apply to him.

To be fair, I can understand why he might be confused, because in the past, ie, before Meghan limpeted herself onto him, he would have been at William and Kate's side.
I think that was because they didn't want him to feel left out because he was single, then when he was no longer single, none of them realised they had to spell it out to him that now he had a fiance/wife he was expected to be with the other minor Royals from now on.

How could he "follow her like a puppy " when she lived in royal residences while in the UK and still had security at that point.

Diana had her good points, but they were buried in a mass of bad ones and bad choices and a hazza-like refusal to accept her own faults or her participation in bad scenarios. Unfortunately it ultimately led to her death. If she hadn't refused RPOs and wasn't so intent on showing her doctor lover what he was missing by flaunting her latest wealthy conquest then maybe she'd not have even been in Paris that night.
Honestly? I think that had she lived another 10 years she'd be a much better person, more accepting that you can't change the past and that she played a very negative part in a lot of dramas. I think she'd abhor smeggy.🤣
PWB is at the stage his mummy was at back then. Vengeful, tit stirring, never at fault and if he keeps mouthing off he'll go the same way she did. You cannot be a guest in America and start trashing the things they hold dear. He's setting himself up as a walking/bike riding target for every armed nutjob out there. Fool.

The married art dealer (a pal of Prince Charles) began an affair with the younger princess after meeting her in the Chelsea Harbour Gym. She was infatuated, gushing to pals that she "daydreamed of living in Italy with the handsome Hoare" and he was infamously discovered by her protection officer "semi-naked behind a potted bay tree in Kensington Palace corridor, smoking a cigar". The affair ended when Hoare's heiress wife, Diane, threatened to end their marriage. Diana then plagued his house with late-night, silent nuisance calls.

Yes, I can sympathise, too, but apparently he always knew and understood that but arrogantly refused to comply.

I understand where you're coming from. In one of the past threads that sequence of photos followed one of Harry with Catherine and William entertaining the Obamas, presumably at Kensington Palace, and I thought then he really had no comprehension that marrying MM would actually lessen his status. Which is not to excuse him in any way; his behaviour has been deplorable.
 
It still makes no sense to me that he's constantly using his Royal title/status for personal gain when he no longer wants to be Royal because it equals being trapped.

And he's OBSESSED with having Security.

FFS if he'd sod off and live privately somewhere without bleating psychobabble every day, he wouldn't need protection officers because nobody would know [or care] where he was.
