She 100% deserves it. She was brilliant as Sgt Catherine Cawood. One of the best shows on TV for a long time.

He and SL were up for the same award. Best drama performance I think. The no longer split the awards into male/female actors

So glad she won! Very well deserved. She’s absolutely brilliant in Happy Valley. The acting is incredible.

Thee are some very funny imitations of her by various people on Instagram. She's quite easy to do (if you're good at that sort of thing!] because the mouth thing she does is so pronounced! Her pouting is annoying too.

That show doesn’t look the best. As much as I love her, Sarah Lancashire can choose some duds sometimes- remember that show based in the Welsh valleys where a factory collapsed? That was tripe.
