Halton Christmas Toy Appeal

Why would that encourage more to donate though? If I thought a small local outfit had raised all that so easily I'd be looking for something else to help. It's counterintuitive to me.

If these hampers are for Xmas foodstuff why the urgency here? Xmas is weeks away. Why's she needing the money right that night? Also saying 4 X 25 doesn't sound any better than demanding £100 in one evening hun.

She is back on the toys now - hammering it hard. The collection points have now closed, sadly but don’t worry - her PayPal is still available for donations.

I have finally got round to reported it to PayPal. I am sure it will go nowhere but I am sick of people begging for good causes and not evidencing any support given, that is ultimately paid for by kind and gullible people whilst these wretches keep the cash for their own needs AND play some sainted hero online.

Also - £25 quid per hamper? duck off - if Aldi can shift this lot (yea, obviously loss-leaders to get you in the shop) then she should be able to do much better with her official tin rattling capacity. Such lies for a few grubby pounds - still, better than lying out your own pocket, eh Nicky.

It’s raffle time again. She has dusted off the notebook and is already the best part of £500 up.

Honestly - at this point, you have to be verging on sub-normal intelligence to give her a single penny. The picture is shite too. If I won it, it would be in the charity shop ten minutes after being given it.

Oh - and just in case you doubt it’s a scam. Friends and family offers zero protection and requires zero accountability.

Yeh you use PayPal friends and family at your own risk, no refunds. I wonder if PayPal are questioning the huge sums coming into her personal non business account or if it's because you said you'd reported her to PayPal? They are completely flouting KYC regulations letting her do business through personal. They must be a money launderers dream if they've never frozen, limited or questioned the source of her funds before now.
