She's going to be a nightmare during pregnancy. It will bring out a lot of old behaviours and thinking patterns from the first 24 years of her life, when she is back to regular doctor's appointments and everyone asking after her medical info all the time. She might find it traumatising, exciting, or a combination. She might slip back into Munchausen's mode, unable to interact with a medical team without being melodramatic, or being obsessed with the idea that something's wrong. I hope the baby is safe.

Her ex husband is as weird as the new/old guys family. Wasn’t he complaining a lot about her leaving him previously? Is he trying to be the bigger guy now because he’s pretty sure it won’t be him paying child support

I know some say he is weird but she gaslit him to hell from the start and wasn't shy about admitting it. He was good enough when she was in prison...or rather, he was the only one daft enough to believe her BS and she used it to make herself look good for when the parole came and she got out. Then as soon as she didn't need him anymore she made him the monster and herself the victim, something she seems to have a habit of doing.
I'm hoping he is just waiting for everything to settle before exposing her because I can imagine she told him a lot of stuff but for some reason, even as crappy as she treated him, he still seems to want to defend her.
