I downloaded the latest episode on I-tunes yesterday. I pay about 30€ for the Season pass and get an e-mail when the latest episode is available, normally just after it airs in the US which is Thursday night for them and Friday mid-afternoon for me.

i appreciate that some fans are still strong supporters of the show, but there’s no way i would pay out of pocket for any of the recent seasons we’ve had so far, they’ve been that dismal. i’d buy NFTs of seasons 1-3 if i could though.

Watching the new episode
I wish Owen didn’t survive, my least favourite character. Especially since Hayes is leaving and he is becoming one of my favourite characters! I never understand how they can be like ‘I’m leaving this is my last shift’ do they not have a notice period???

I started a rewatch and am finishing S7, haven’t watched any old episodes for several years so the contrast with the last few seasons is very pronounced.
It used to be so interesting and had characters with actual depth.

Also this Station19 crossover stuff is getting on my nerves, I don’t want to have to watch something else to not miss out important Greys plotlines? I just get my info from Reddit instead🤷🏻‍♀️

I really didn’t like the cross over - it was too much. I don’t mind when shows do it subtlety but they put major storylines in Station 19 that were so crucial for Greys particularly one major character departure during the covid series which will remain unmentioned as I don’t know how to add the spoiler haha.

I tried to watch Station 19 and didn’t enjoy it. I feel like they put too much money and time in to trying to get that show off the ground as Greys had started to naturally run out of storylines and that show would be able continue for a long time but what it actually did was lose the magic of Greys.

Im devasted at dereks death .theres to many people that have died that i love
it really went downhill for me after that, and i’m not some die hard Dempsey fan. i can recall only two episodes that matched the original ‘greatness’ of Grey’s after that: the one directed by Denzel Washington and when April treated the dying Rabbi. i well and truly checked out after those.

The show did seem to lose its oomph after Patrick dempsey left. Its just a massive money maker for the network and the cast regardless of how long its been on. I do not like the cross over episodes. I got into station 19 during lockdown but still I'd rather they didn't merge the 2 shows so much. Like it's nearly every few episodes now 🙄 many people have no interest in station 19 so why force it down people's throats. They didn't push private practise as hard and that was a very good show at times. Too many characters I cared about gone now and just uninteresting or less developed characters left. Bailey and Richard are still okay but Bailey has made questionable decisions in later years. Just call it now please even the Irish fella is leaving there was a lot of potential with him but that's been wasted.

Have watched up to season 16 on Disney plus, can see first half of season 18 is on now TV but don't want to watch it without seeing season 17 first 😭 why is it not on any streaming platform I have?! Devastated.

Used to love it, felt it was going downhill so recently caught up on a few seasons and definitely not as good but no long running TV show ever is, still going to watch it!!

If you’re in the UK/Ireland….Season 17 is coming to Disney + next Weds, 16th. So hold out a week and you can catch up! I’ve seen it all and yeah, it’s a challenge to watch 🤣 It’s not as good and part of me wishes they’d bow out gracefully with it. But I still watch it!

Oh that's good news, I will rewatch that if I'm still breathing after MY operation.
