I am a die hard fan, binged 4 times but I cannot get into the current season. I literally watch it on fast forward. It’s just tit IMO.
I have to admit only ever seeing the show once and that was binge from this year, this season isn't exactly trouser filling.
Had there been no covid the season would have looked a lot different.

Once maggie joined the show went massively down hill for me. I just don't rate her character at all. Her crap relationship with Richard is all her own doing. I know he hurt her a few times but he has always made much more of an effort than her. And he and Jackson so bloody rude to him even when they were a couple.
Same. I don’t think bringing in a sister was needed at all. We’d seen Ellis and Richard’s past, no hints of the pregnancy, blatantly it was just added in so someone could try and replace Christina. Never gonna happen! Meredith had Jo and Callie and Amelia and April, those friendships could have been focused on. Richard is a father figure to Bailey. Maggie was just unnecessary and she’s an annoying character which doesn’t help! Plus then putting her with Jackson was awful, no chemistry at all and not even opposites attract, just two people who didn’t fit together!

Bringing in Maggie as a sister was just taking the piss, we all know Ellis had a past but including Maggie was going too far
and IMO fucked it up. Reading this thread I had early warning that Maggie is a crap character and she is really is bleeping
crap. Jackson, what a wanker, him and Maggie, worse characters of the entire show.

I’m actually going to miss Jackson! I thought that was a lovely goodbye episode. The flashbacks REALLY made me miss the earlier episodes when it was in its prime, though.

I hate Maggie but I got emotional when she asked Richard to officiate 🤣 😭
I did cry during this one!

I’ve never been a massive Jackson fan, didn’t dislike him and wasn’t sad last week… shed a few tears tonight though.
It hasn’t occurred to me that him and mer are the only OG residents left

I’ve been thinking of watching this show because it’s free on Prime and I just love Sandra Oh.
This is a really daft question but does it have gory moments? I used to love ER but would have to watch half of it behind my hands because of all the gore and medical drama/horror. Yes I’m stupidly squeamish! 😆

It’s quite realistic, but not unnecessarily so I think. Like there is blood and guts, but it’s not gratuitous, there’s a point to it all

I second that, it's well edited so you will not need worry about losing your lunch.

If you read this thread you will learn that this year I've watched all of ER back to back binge seasons then
went onto Grey's straight away. If you enjoyed ER, you will adore Grey's.

I didn’t want to read through the thread in case of running into any spoilers! Sounds like a good choice though, thank you.

Me too! My sister is on series 4 of her first time ever watching, she has no idea what she’s in for!🤣
It came up on my Timehop today as six years since I first watched the …season 8 finale… and wow I wish I could do that again/ never ever do that 😂

Been watching station 19 just starting season 2 I'm not sure about it.
I like it more now than I did at the beginning.
Can't hack Andrea but I've warmed to several others including Bishop, Miller, Lady De Luca, all of whom I didn't like originally.
The most recent series has dealt with BLM brilliantly and Covid quite well IMO. I'd say stick with it for another while!
