What kid that age is going to say They want a Ms Haversham costume when they are asked what they want to dress up as for Halloween. It was made really well but it wasn’t on brief. The brief was a Halloween costume for a nine year old. A lot would have asked for a Dalek even though the kid on the show didn’t know what one was 🙄 and probably a bad fairy.

She should have just called it ghost bride and used miss Haversham for inspiration

I thought Man Yee's banana spider costume was really cute and I think it would've cheapened it to have strung the legs together. Dunno wtf went on with Marni, maybe she got complacent because she excelled in the first two weeks. Agree that Miss Havisham was such a bizarre choice, how many 9 year olds have read Great Expectations? It did look good though.

Kids who know disney (especially the parks) would love the miss Haversham outfit because of the bride on Haunted mansion

I can't remember the name of the contestant who made the blue Bowie trouser suit with maribou feathers but I absolutely loved it. To me to make a jacket and trousers in the time (or at all tbh 😂) is mind boggling. Far better, I thought, than the asymmetrical jacket. Which was still good.
I still like Sara Pascoe. More than I thought I would.

Annie's pattern was the same one that Serena used last year for one of the made to measures. I think it was the work Christmas party one and she made it in green and said it was inspired by killing eve. It's just such a unique pattern so was easy to see!

Good spotting re Serenas pattern! I remember it now. I've only just watched this episode, can't watch when it screens. Another fun episode. I liked the Parka challenge. Who knew they were so complicated to make? The Country remake was pretty good, most looked wearable. The Bowie Challenge was lovely with some excellent garments. I think the one who went home was inevitable. It had less pizzazz that the rest. A worthy winner though I loved the dark purple trouser and top with feathers.
