Sad to see Don go but it was the right decision I think. I loved that he said he's teaching his granddaughter to sew now.

I agree that Don was a dashing younger gentleman. All of his work he’s shown done outside of the show has been amazing, the prom dress and wedding dress are no exception!
I agreed with the garment of the week this week - very pretty garment. The red ball puff number was my close second (slight underlining showing and all).

The idea behind Marcus's made to measure was an interesting one, it was the execution that let him down. If he'd have measured and finished everything properly, it could have looked like something Harry Styles or Timothee Chalamet would wear.

I can only think it is the off-the-wall-creative inspiration they are admiring.
However even if the idea was good (and I would take issue with that) the excecution was shyte and the end result was a hot mess. Badly sewn, didn't fit the model and looked ghastly.

Just catching up. Not sure if I’m more surprised that the man child whose name escapes me is married or that his wife let him cut it up given he’s not renowned for amazing finished garments!
While it’s got nothing to do with the sewing I’m feeling a spark between Lauren and Kiell. They have some good banter going.

That challenge with all the little bits of fabric was clever ... I mean it's 'do-able' for an idiot like myself, albeit something simple like a cushion.

Honestly Don came across as lovely, it was nice to see an older man embracing new techniques and not panicking if it didn’t work! Gutted he left this week

A lot of the made to measures were a bit ropey tonight as well. Certain people got lots of praise for ideas that were far less original than they thought they were and skirts that were too short.
