I forgot the historical section. They've just shoved another ad break in to make up the time.I don't mind Matt and Noel but agree they seem to disrupt the contestants too much.

I quite like Noel and Matt together (apart from some of the odd intros) and I used to always skip the historical section as found it so dull - just shows you can never please everyone.

I've never properly got back into it since Mary Berry left. I like Paul, and Prue seems ok, but something about the old episodes which felt more bake off for me. It gave me that summer baking feel, and it seemed joyous any time it was on.
 
I never watched bake off till it moved. I was never a massive Mary fan. Paul pisses me off.
Sandi and Pru were the only reason I agreed to give it a go. Pru is such a style icon for me 😆

Now I'm hooked. I don't mind matt so much this series, he seems to be finding his feet a bit better this time round

We won't please everyone. Apparently there are people who don't fancy Chigs and who don't love Jurgen??? 🤪🤪🤪

Yeah, I’m not a big Jurgen fan. Sorry guys! I do love Chigs though because he’s from the same city as me and I’ve always loved Noel. Am I forgiven? 😭
 
Had to watch last night so a bit late to the party but this week was so annoying.. caramel week and they kept complaining everyones bakes were too caramelly and sweet..? Well duh 😒

And when they kept putting gelatine in everything and made their cakes look like flubber 🤮 gross man. Wasn’t feeling it at all, but at least the Jurgenator prevails 🙌🏻

PS Paul is a mardy bastard and I hate him. The end 😇.

I don't really like caramel as a flavour. Although I do like a Twix, caramel custard or caramel cake is just sickly IMO. Its a weird thing to have a 'week' on.
