Did anyone see her story yesterday about the current situation with our rights to protest? She has screenshotted it off someone else's (smaller influencer) story and then tagged them really small and hid it under her handle... She doesn't even follow this person and was clearly trying to pass it off as her own commentary! I only noticed this as the person she has taken it from is a friend of a friend.... Wish i screenshotted

EDIT found it on her highlights!

That she hasn't neutered either... whenever an adult male dog isn't neutered yet it usually means they at some point want to be used to breed (to me anyway). Especially if he keeps chronically humping everything

is she actually taking the piss with how small that ad is, does anyone know how to report this
Yup I noticed that. I’m gonna bet that Montana, Steph and her current housemates are gonna miraculously all have ‘rescued’ cockapoo puppies next year

I know nothing about dogs but she really hasn't? I thought neutering was like the number one thing you do with rescued puppies? I know it's what you do with cats anyway!
She hadn’t up until at least a few months ago - she posted a picture of him with his balls on display and also likes to post videos of him humping things or laughing about his erection. Lovely stuff.

Although, he has been wearing a neck collar in her stories recently, so maybe he has finally got the snip?

(also, “rescued” - she bought him off Pets4Homes for £2,000 from owners who couldn’t handle him. she calls it rehoming but let’s be real, she was never gonna adopt a mutt from Dogs Trust)

On the subject of the dog, I genuinely find it disgusting that she sleeps in bed with it. That dog has been walking all round london every day, stepping in tit, rolling in dirt in the garden and you want to put him in your nice clean bed with you??
I’m sorry if anyone does this here (a lot of people do, I’ve seen my younger siblings do it) and I don’t want to offend anyone, but I just find it really disgusting to put a dirty animal under the covers with you like that.

I'm pretty sure if you get a pup through a shelter they neuter them, I know my rescue pups were both neutered.
I’m fairly sure most, if not all, cats and dogs homes/charities in the UK have a policy of neutering before adoption. I think some of them even have subsidised or free neutering schemes, even if your animal didn’t come from there originally. IMO it’s just another concrete example of how we know she didn’t actually get Ziggy from a proper adoption centre, which is what most people would assume she meant when she said she rehomed him.

Grace (as per usual) is just paying lip service to "adopt, don't shop". She tells everyone that adopting is important, but at the end of the day, she paid for a designer dog. By increasing the demand for designer dogs and not neutering hers, she is contributing to the issue that most rescues struggle with - a surplus of less pretty dogs and people not neutering their pets.

She does the same thing with body positivity and anti-racism. She'll tell others to walk her talk without ever doing so herself. IMO it leads to people celebrating inadequate activism as gamechanging, which ultimately hurts the groups she is getting praise for "supporting".

Yeah usually if you adopt a puppy you'll get a neutering voucher for when they're old enough! I remember she literally got home from the airport after travelling and went to pick him up straight away. Usually a rescue, or even responsible owners who genuinely care for his welfare but just couldn't look after him anymore would want to meet her first and do home checks etc? Which makes it seem even more like she just bought him from a breeder. I remember at the time she said she needed a maltipoo because he was hypoallergenic due to her 'asthma' , even though she grew up with fluffy cats, a different breed of dog and now has a dachshund in her house. I remember this was my personal turning point for going off her as I had her down as someone who'd go to Battersea or be able to promote that the best breed is rescue etc which is something that's important to me

I get the impression she bought the puppy who was still very young and was technically being re homed, but this is clearly is not the same as going down to a dog shelter and re homing a dog. She was clearly looking for a particular dog breed and got one that was being re homed as a puppy so she could say she was re homing. I think it’s just classic her finding a loop hole and stretching the truth. It’s like me buying a new puppy off a friend who has got the puppy from a breeder 2 weeks earlier. I wouldn’t start preaching all smug to everyone about adopting dogs.

Btw just want to point out that her story of how she got Ziggy (via Pets4Homes, from a family who didn't want him) does check out, because I found the original advert for him on there. So she didn't get him from a breeder, but she still paid £2,000 for a designer dog breed and contributed to the demand for these dogs. It's 'rehoming' in the loosest sense of the term... he was going to get snapped up by someone, she was hardly saving him from a bad situation like the term implies.

And it's true that by posting stuff about adopting/rehoming a dog most people would assume she got him through an adoption centre. You are never gonna find a 12 week maltipoo up for grabs from the RSPCA haha. When she first got that dog there were so many people desperately asking what breed he was so that they could get one too - so no doubt she encouraged people to go via a breeder rather than adopting.
