It was pretty dull. I think they need to change the programmes they're watching tbh. I know there's a been a few things this week on TV that could have made better viewing than what they showed. I suspect they have some sort of deal with Netflix too.

i hate the way she speaks to george. i think we talked about it a few pages back but she always makes really sexual comments like she wants him to react (and what she was saying a few weeks back about having lots of “uncles” before her mum married him!) - i get we’re only seeing tiny snippets of their lives but i’m not a fan. i wish he would bite back sometimes too.

Yes, I got crucified on Digital Spy way back for saying something about Helena and the way she acts towards George.
On one programme where the parties at Downing St during lockdown were being discussed, she kinda snarled into his face 'YOU COULDN'T EVEN VISIT YOUR SISTER'.
It seems that his sister died, sadly, during lockdowns and obviously because of restrictions, he was unable to be there. But it came across as really insensitive to me, the way she said it.

She looks past George most of the time as though he is not even there. He used to fascinate me because he sat in silence mostly. If he does say anything, which he has started to do in more recent series, she snarks at him.
So maybe that's why he used to stay quiet.

As you say, we only see snippets and at least George and Alison seem very happy together.

Thanks. That looks really uninspiring.

I'm very surprised they haven't shown any of Fred's Last Resort. It's an E4 show and has had some genuinely funny/cringeworthy moments.
