Re: injured foot. I switched channels to avoid that part, so I didn't see the foot. Got a very full description from my friend though! It sounds horrific. How did it happen?
I don't know about the online version, but there was a content warning before the TV episode. We laughed because it included so many things. Something along the lines of 'violence, graphic medical injury, strong language, scenes that viewers might find upsetting'.

There was a warning just before the show started about their being scenes of blood or something along those lines that views my find difficult to watch

Yes, they gave the warning alright. I just covered my eyes for that bit. What a dreadful injury that woman sustained. I gather that they sorted it out thankfully.
I hope the person who got that whack in the face was okay.

i think they said she’d fallen off “an inflatable” during a fun run! i don’t think i’ve ever seen actual doctors look so horrified by something so i should have covered my eyes in anticipation but

i don’t mind them (and mary was in a very animated mood last night!) the malones are the ones who have fully crossed into annoying for me - the dad never enjoys anything and i hate the way the son narrates everything they’re about to watch

It looked like even one of the nurses was finding it hard to look at, as soon as the woman came round the first thing she said "is my foot facing the right way round now"

i cannot imagine getting wheeled into a&e and having all the medical staff basically look at you like
i could never do it either. aside from not being able to deal with blood etc, it requires a level of calmness and patience that i just don’t have

I've always found them hilarious. I love the dry humour (and outright weirdness) of their comments. Don't think I'd find them likeable IRL, but not sure it really matters in a show like this.
I wonder if they're asked to do this by producers? Because he's not the only one. There'll be a lion chasing a gazelle on a nature documentary and someone will go ''THAT LION'S CHASING THAT GAZELLE'' as if we didn't know already.
Has anyone watched the serial killer series, 'You'? I'm seeing so many Dexter parallels! Don't want to call it a ripoff because I haven't watched it properly.

I enjoy Giles and Mary. He winds her up endlessly and she sometimes slaps him down, other times gives in and laughs. She was in particularly good humour last night alright. !Jenny and Lee, while I still find them likeable, try too hard now with their set up scenes, imo. I think they are naturally quite funny together so they don't need to do so much setting up of gags.

i think they all do but he (the malone son) is always like “i’ve heard about this! i’ve been wanting to watch this! that’s MIKA! look, a piano!” like someone is holding up cue cards for him offscreen. it really annoyed me last night for some reason
you is a decent enough watch tbh. it has dexter vibes but with very different motivations for the central character.

I don't find it dry at all, more just infantile and annoying but then again there's people who pay loads of money to see comics I think are unfunny so people do find different things funny. The tena pad thing was full on cringe.

I mute the Malones at times. I didn't particularly like the other son and the way he addressed everything he said to the dad as though trying to impress him or something.
