He was the Arsenal Captain from a young age, holds the distinction of being the only player (in England anyway) to captain a title winning side in three seperate decades. He had issues with alcoholism but got sober, wrote a book about it and founded a charity that helps sportspeople with addiction which is why he is on Strictly as I understand it, to raise the charity's profile.

He was never a graceful player and was mocked with the nickname 'Donkey' for a while. He is all heart though, one of the last 'one club' players. Here he is singing his heart out during the national anthem at euro 96 (number 5):

Wow! He seems like a really nice chap. Thanks for going to the trouble of telling me, I've not got around to googling him yet.
You know when someone just radiates good energy? That's what I feel he does. He has a really warm face if that makes sense.

I couldn't care less about that murder comedy thing, irritating they decided to push it every week. Imagine money exchanged hands to get it so much exposure.

I saw Nadiya in Boots in MK recently. Was definitely staring like is it?! She's TEENY... she had N.H on the back of her denim jacket which gave it away mind 😅😅
