I think the way they’ve replaced contestants all the way though has been unfair. Like the guy who went in for Chung went out in the first set of heats. Had he won last night he would have gone from the first round straight to the final and that wouldn’t haven’t been fair on the ones who just missed out in later rounds. I understand there’s some logistics to it all but it just doesn’t seem fair.

On to the show itself, I thought Giant got lucky on Duel - it looked like he encroached on the contender's platform. I know they did a replay and he didn't technically touch it, but he still came over quite a bit.
I felt sorry for Chung - must be gutting to go out with an injury like that, especially as it just looked like a bad tackle. I know it's a competition but I think some of the Gladiators take it a bit too seriously at times. Chill out, we know you're much stronger, no need to throw your entire weight at a guy half your size to the point that he lands so heavily he does himself an injury.
I thought Matt threw at the end there... The 'fall' off the balance beams and then taking extra long to prepare himself for the travelator showed he wanted Wes to get the win. I understand why - after all, Wes had taken part in the whole episode and Matt came in fresh. Turns out he didn't really need to throw, as he found the travelator tough anyway.
Mentioning no names there is a Gladiator that has been on Youtube for years and does produce very good content, he makes no excuses and if you go back on videos admits he is assisted with gear. There is also another Youtuber who is the biggest fake natty on the planet! Some of them have been around for years under different names

My son and husband were fuming with Matt on the eliminator. He just gave up and watched as the other lad won. Chung on one leg would have done a better job!

I thought the Gladiators were given steroids tests now to avoid another scandal like in the original? I read somewhere Giant said he did steroids once upon a time but doesn’t now. But tbh it’s not that deep for me. It’s Saturday night entertainment.

I think previously on the thread another tattler said he is afraid of heights, maybe that could be why? Although I would of thought The Edge would be worse for that than duel.
