mark clattenburg's accent's been bugging me, like half the time he sounds scottish, half the time he sounds geordie. (I do think he emphasises a scottish accent when he goes "contender ready! gladiator ready! to sound like john tbh)

anyhoo, turns out he's from consett, so no bleeping wonder he has a weird accent!

although, half my family's from berwick, so im not one to talk...

I’m glad Bettinwas knocked out - she was really rough with Dynamite on the wall, kicking her a couple of times. Although Brontë was saved by Sabre’s injury as she probably wouldn’t have scored that many points and only had a slight lead at the end even with a big head start.

Finlay’s eliminator was amazing - the way he tackled the cargo net!

We’re fans of Legend in our house and we did enjoy his 5 I’s in individual brilliance comment tonight 😂😂😂

I had a feeling finlay would do well he's an army man right, cargo net would be right up his street probably plenty of practice.

As for legend I'm shocked he managed to compliment someone other than himself

I don’t know why they bother with Gauntlet. The 90s version had so many amazing games they could have chosen from. Swingshot was awesome, like Powerball but they were on bungees. And Atlaspheres where they were in the huge zorb balls. Pyramid was a good one too.

We were saying the same tonight about the old games. Also the wall was more difficult in the original- sure it had a overhang part rather than just being a straight run
