Did anyone else go to the Lauren Graham book tour in London last night?

It was great. What a lovely, warm, funny lady. And she also mentioned Kelly Bishop is releasing a book soon (September according to Amazon) called the Third Gilmore Girl so I look forward to reading that.

I was there too! I thought she came across very self aware and really acknowledged that she owes everything to Gilmore Girls. I love that, I can’t bear it when people are almost embarrassed about their past and don’t want to engage with it when that’s the reason the majority of people are there! Pop stars are particularly bad for this when they go solo and don’t want to talk about their former band

I was there! It was such a good night! I agree, she is warm and funny, and I just loved how she rambled on a little at various points! I’m looking forward to reading Kelly’s book, I loved the TVM, TVD sign offs they do to each other in texts

So I’m on my very first watch of Gilmore Girls. I don’t mind spoilers so I have some idea of what happens throughout the show. I’m on season 4 now and have been waiting for Rory to become insufferable since going to Yale… it took S4 E7 for me to finally become annoyed with her. It’s “The Festival of Living Art” and the comments about the “crazy, doofus town”, Lorelai using “off-brand” detergent and her issue with coupons just screams ego. My god. Is she like this the rest of the show?

Just started a rewatch, literally on episode 1 right now. Drella makes me laugh so much. Whenever I’m having a rough time, this is the show I want to watch. It’s like a warm hug.
