Find it so cringe that they do this as well. They make you feel guilty for not having everything for the baby.

I’m sorry though, but what has a velvetiser got to do with babies/being a mum? Starting to think loving hot chocolate is one of three personality traits needed to be a bimbo influencer - Carys Whittaker, Zoe Sugg, Elle Darby

I was told I would not have kids (medically) then against huge odds, I did, because of the situation, I didn't feel comfortable in my pregnancy and I'd say my child was probably about 5 months old, before I had anything wallpaper or borders (borders were an in thing back then ;) ) .

I had a few things that I'd liked popped into a box, but even that, I didn't feel I could open for a little while.

When I read your wording about "make you feel guilty for not having everything for the baby", I just wanted to share that. It doesn't have to be a 5* hotel rating baby nursery, it just needs to be safe, comfortable and full of love, everything else can arrive when it does :)

It's sad that it's so full of comparison now with the Influence community, that parents can't simply enjoy a very special and rare time, when they are fortunate enough to have that. x

Apparently her voice has changed with pregnancy, she has expierenced every symptom of pregnancy even the ones you didn't know existed, you name it our gem has had it!
 
I must admit I’ve stopped watching gem completely and I tend to watch more humble vlogs of people who actually do things … go to uni , work , eat out , shop and do YouTube as a hobby on the side … they don’t have huge followings but it’s honest and interesting, and so refreshing how unmaterialistic they are in comparison to the more established vloggers out there 😊
