The fakery is actually getting to her, I would guess that's the real reason she's been feeling ill and seems anxious about all the things she can't control. I wish there were YT restrictions on her using the word 'healthy' to sell her channel because her eating disorder is being marketed to impressionable tweens.
 
I feel really sorry for Gemma at the moment to be honest. I think she must be feeling very isolated after her friend break up with Sophie, losing her dad, and not seeing her mum. Regardless of why Sophie has disappeared, Gemma can't really make any new friends at the moment with lockdown... I'm still undecided about Jamie but whatever the deal is with him she still needs girl friends and she isn't going to be getting that when she is just stuck at home with him. Her accepting that stupid restaurant app game ad in her aldi haul video I think just shows that she's lost her way with her content at the moment. I think the reliance on ads and talking about products /spending /consumerism is a distraction from her having to face the reality of her own life as it currently is; I think so much content at the moment from other influencers/YouTubers or whatever is based around buying cheap tat online because they have nothing else to talk about and if they didn't do that they would realise that they are just the same as everyone else muddling through being in lockdown again... I'd like to see a video where Gemma doesn't talk about how much she "loves!!!" something she's recently bought... I want to see more of her cats and I'd like to see her try to make bread or something like that?! Just normal stuff that doesn't involve spending money

I agree with you here, I think away from the camera Gemma is a nice girl, it was evident in her videos with Sophie that they clearly had such a lovely bond and a close friendship.

It not just her it seems that lots of influencers have lost their way at the minute, probably to do with the pandemic.
 
not sure what’s going on with her but she said her and Jaime were looking at houses, not sure why she would buy with Jaime, they not been together long. She’s saved a long time for a house, wouldn’t want to buy with a guy that you already broke up with twice, better to let him live with her as a ‘tenant’ so she can loose him without the house.
feel she’s lost her way, surprised there isn’t a the secret doing my mood board or the secret, filling the pages out. Or making items for the house or homemade cat toys. Anything but the endless make up, food shop and Netflix tit.
jaime doesn’t seem to work, doesn’t he have somewhere to go, would hate that he is in the house all the time- I know lockdown but he was there all the time before that.

can we discuss Gemma’s size, she buys extra large clothes and looks like a bag lady but when she in gym clothes she has a good figure. Not sure what dress size she is but could someone tell her cream, white, grey and camel are not the only colours available.
needs to buy new furniture everything is grey and white- grey morning, feeling grey= not happy sayings so why would you surround yourself with grey when you are clearly a depressed person pretending to the camera that your a positive happy person.

I will admit Laura mercier product looks great, I know it’s a cult classic, has anybody here used it? No way would I use her swipe up though lol.

I went looking for a picture of her old lips to compare ... I couldn’t find any but lol to be fair compared to this she has toned down since being handsome squidward

Was literally going to say the same thing! If you go on the girls profile, they’ve got lovely friend pics dating back to summer 2020 which is when Gemma and Jamie went public isn’t it. Looks like Sophie has moved on and found an entirely normal life and a normal set of friends that don’t see her as a photographer 😂 good for Sophie she looks very happy. Lots of pictures with lots of girls all looking bubbly and happy making memories which is what it should be in your 20s! Not this isolated existence in your cosy kingdom with cling-on boyfriends.
